3.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, but missing two fundamental features
Reviewed in the United States on 2 March 2018
I thought this was similar to the KX-TGE232B I ordered recently for my office lines, but in white. I like the different color so I can tell which phone is which. I also like that each handset can be 'named' and the name displays on the handset when idle - you can use the name in the intercom feature so knowing which one is which is really great. However, it is missing two fundamental features I didi not think to check for. It allows you to program your service-provided voicemail access code, and detects the stutter tone and gives you one-button access to listen to voicemail -- which is great -- but it does not have a flashing light indicator to tell you when you have voicemail! That's such a basic feature I'm kind of shocked it's not included. You want something to tell you fairly aggressively - 'you have voicemail'. The second missing feature is a plug in for a headset. I use a headset on my office line almost exclusively. I'm glad this isn't my office line because that is also a really fundamental feature. Why they would include features like 'key detector' but miss these two basic ones is really beyond me.
