Awesome price, easy to use, but the covering aren't durable. The covering on these unravel w normal use, but if u don't mind that since they aren't supposed to be seen anyway, they are a great deal. They stay in place when u place them just right.

The Magic Bun Maker is a good, but not magical, item. Did it make a bun out of my mid-length, multi-layer hair? Yes. Was it as "tight" of a bun as the everyone in the reviews said? No. I think I just need more time to play with my hair and the Magic Bun Maker. I like it now but I might be able to grow to love it as my hair gets longer.

I ordered these in hopes that it would be able to hold up my hair in a nice neat bun. Once you get the hang of how they work, they are pretty easy to get in. I do have pretty long thick hair, so it is kind of tricky to get them to work through my hair, and I feel like if you have thick hair, you may come across the same problem. However, I gave them to a couple of my high school students I teach, and they love them!

If you have layers in your hair this will take some getting used to. My hair sits on my shoulders and occasionally I will get loose tufts of hair coming out of my bun. Once your hair grows or you fine the right spot it will be no problem. Excellent product and I only use 2 Bobby pins to keep it in place.

I have medium, thick, layered hair and I could not get it to work as my hair kept falling out not allowing me to wrap my hair around it. However, my sister who has long, thin, same-length hair used it and for the most part worked great for her with just a few hanging hairs. So i recommend for people with the second style of hair. Also, make sure you get the correct color for your hair as I accidently ordered light brown when I have black hair.
