This author (nutrionist) has a knack for writing, it is actually quite enjoyable reading. Whenever I read her chapters, it feels like I'm in a room with her and she's talking to me. The information is very up-to-date with all of the current thinking for 2020. I just love the first chapter addressing the guilt complex that arises with indulgences.
This book is comprehensive but not for me. I'm not interested in adopting a diet that calls for coconut oils, aminos, collagen and other items that aren't part of a normal diet. I'm looking for a diet that uses real every day foods and herbs. On the plus side it does include exercises which is a key component to losing weight and being healthy.
I wasn't too sure when I ordered this book but is has been really helpful in workout suggestions and food recipes. I have learned how to balance both parts and will continue to use the book for the exercise tips that it gives. I have implemented some of the food suggestions as well, tweaking them to my liking and it is helping to curb my sugar cravings (my weakness!). Definitely try his book out if you are at point where you are not seeing your weight move.
The 30-Day Healthy Weight Loss Plan and Cookbook is very informative and easy to follow. Part One was a very informative section that focuses on losing weight in a healthy way. Part Two gives Menu planning ideas with workout and habit trackers. I also thought the Shopping List was a great part of this book. It takes the guess work out of shopping. Overall I would recommend this to those looking to lose weight with a focus on healthy living.
I have gotten several similar books but, this was the first I could actually stick with. There are a handful of easy to follow exercises that anyone can follow at home. The recipes are pretty tasty and easy to follow. The shopping is made easy with a weekly grocery list. If you are willing to try new things, this book really takes the guessing work out of all of it. I lost 2 pounds my first week following this book and, I couldn't be happier!
This is a decent cookbook but I found many of the recipes to be a bit complex and ingredient heavy. Going through, I marked maybe 10 or 12 that I would like to try. In my opinion, that does not make it worth the price of purchasing this book. I will definitely be trying those few recipes but would not consider purchasing this book again. If you do not mind complex recipes with lots of ingredients you will probably like this book.
As someone who has been on a weightloss journey for a year I get tired of the same 3 meals i make and ive run out of ideas. I ordered this as a mental refresh to help me think of different ways of esting healthy foods. And it worked! I feel refreshed and have a few new menu options to keep me going! As always every recipe is customizable and changable to fit your needs/likes and dislikes!
To say I'm in a food rut is an understatement. I typically rotate a few options but I know I can do better menu wise as well as creating better balanced meals. This is a good book to help with both. I like that it has weekly meal guides as well as exercises to keep you on track. The recopies are full of flavor and also cut down on the radiational oils. A lot of the recipes call for avocado oil which is new to me.

I started this and while I didn't do all the recipes, I was able to lose 5lbs in 2 weeks following this book. Being written by a registered dietician made me decide to get this. I did give 3 stars though because I wish recipes were a bit simpler and you didn't need as many ingredients as most require. Besides that, it's an ok book, and I'll continue using it to see how much more I can lose.

Mabee its just me, but most of the main courses of this book seem more like side dishes. If you are a vegetarian you will find some good choices here. I just cant do that many veggies for a main. This is not your ordinary book, so that is good.
