Who could know . . . ???Reviewed in the United States on 18 August 2015
A very personal, intriguing, honest look into the thought processes of a mountain climber. This author is a husband, father, and M.D., and explores the ramifications of his choices, actions, and risks in each of these areas. This is an area of interest I've never before explored, and found it enlightening and fascinating. And SCARY!! Glad I read it!

Profound, compelling and artfully crafted, this will be appreciated not only by climbers and mountaineers, but by anyone striving to integrate adventure and love within the confines of one life.

Good mountain readReviewed in the United States on 16 May 2015
Fun to read. Brown is average climber, not a super star, and exhibits good mountain judgement.
Courageous mountaineering, courageous writingReviewed in the United States on 9 April 2015
It takes courage to climb great peaks, and even more courage to write about it with great honesty and insight. Brown reveals the practical and moral dilemmas associated with pursuing life's meaningful endeavors. A great read.
