Only gripe is there's many openings for sweat or water to get in via sd card slot, headphone jack and micro usb opening. Comes with a silicone case to help the sweat/water issue. Bought to replace a SanDisk clip mp3 that was no good. This is better.

I originally bought the AGPTEK A50 model player but issues with Bluetooth functionality and poor menu navigation forced me to return it. I took a chance on this player believing that it "must" have an updated operating system that would work better with Bluetooth. Luckily I was right.

Now don't get me wrong you do lose some features that the other player had such as pedometer, video, alarm, equalizer and a few others but what you do get is a much easier to navigate interface. All of your downloaded music is stored in the music section even when utilizing BT. You no longer have to click the power button several times to get past the screen saver to your music. You don't have to disconnect from BT while you navigate to settings or if you want to switch to radio. Of course to use radio you still have to have headphones attached to serve as an antenna but I find that you can just drop the earbuds and player in a pocket and use a BT device.

I have one complaint so far about this player. The HD screen is nice but the font is a little small. Even with bifocals I have a hard time seeing what the screen says at times. Other than that though this player seems to be just what I was looking for to play music through a BT device. Small and compact, has a built in clip to secure to shirt or pocket, easy and reliable BT connection, and a decent battery life to last through a work day. The addition of the silicone case and armband will come in very handy to protect the player from damage.

I believe the player is capable of Audible and Books but I do not use those services and can't comment as to how well they work. I have also not had the opportunity as yet to fully put the battery life to the test but I will update my results.

Sansa Clip lovers, this won't fill the void, but it's getting there...

Like so many I have been in search of something on par with the long retired Sansa Zip Clip with Rockbox - which I consider the gold standard for MP3 players. I had some hope, when I first started seeing knock off versions of the Clip Plus and Zip Clip about six months back. I tried them out, and found myself underwhelmed - when hooked up to the line in in my car there was lots of distortion, and the bluetooth wouldn't allow fast forward or rewind - which are essential for podcast listening.

Well... fast forward to the AGPTEK G6, which is a serious attempt to fill the void of the Sansa Zip Clip.

The good points:
1) The UI is clean - not as good as Rockbox, but pretty close.
2) Bluetooth is now seamlessly integrated, allowing seek capabilities.
3) Bookmarks!

The bad points:

1) I am still experiencing distortion when plugging into my AUX cable in my car. My Sansa doesn't have this issue. I suspect it's a lack of power to drive the output.
2) Bookmarks - While this is nice feature, the design isn't great. There's lots of button pushing involved to create a bookmark. As a user, I'd like to just click the button once (via the "M" button) to create a bookmark. Playing from the bookmark could then be done via another method.
3) Turning Bluetooth On and Off - There are just took many clicks to do things. There should be a menu item for "Turn Bluetooth On/Off" not one for "Turn Bluetooth On" and another for "Turn Bluetooth Off"
4) Holding the seek button when the screen is off moves you to the next track. I have been burned by this over and over. With a Sansa, you can seek through a track regardless of the player's state. I wish they would change the way this works...

AGPTEK is headed in the right direction, and I hope they keep at it. With a little work this can be a better player than the Sansa Clip Zip. The fact that they have firmware updates gives me hope that my device can be flashed with new improvements.

Despite the shortfalls, I can see myself buying more of these to have on hand as backups.

I'll start with the fact that there's a Bluetooth feature BUT... out of all of my devices this thing couldn't detect any of them. Except some random ass Roku in my neighborhood. So the Bluetooth is already more than useless, since I was counting on that for work so blewy goes that hope.

Now another thing that makes this useless piece of garbage so annoying is it gets albums confused with other albums even thought the folders are clearly separate in the SD card. Plus once you get to the album you wish to listen to, it separates out each song into their own single track of that album in another album elsewhere among the list of albums you have. Not to mention if you find an album in its entirety, which is rare with this, don't expect it to play your songs in their original track order. It mixes up your track titles in alphabetical order, which already makes the shuffle feature useless since it already does that on its own apparently.

The lock switch is a problem because you have to put the mp3 player on its standby mode, because if you lock it beforehand forget about putting it on standby while listening to music to save the battery. The buttons sometimes tend to work while it's on lock mode. Meaning if it's in my pocket sometimes I'll accidentally hit the buttons and it'll activate it's FM radio. Which should not be happening at all. Because putting it on lock I press every button to make sure it actually stays in my designated album. Sure enough nothing happens as it shouldn't, but then again this thing tends to have a mind of its apparently.

So there you have it, you want a cheap mp3 player? This is it. Cheap and useless. It's not even worth returning. The only place this thing will be going once I get a different one from a different brand name; is the garbage, or under the wheels of a semi. Either way it's garbage. Don't buy this. Save your money and buy an Apple Shuffle.

Nicely finished unit, feels well made, solid and battery (new, about 2 months now) holds up for several hours continuous play on Bluetooth or patched to car stero. Wished the silicon protective case (nice fit, easy to remove and put back, leaves clip still usable) were clear over the display - as it is you can barely make out any text as you scroll thru the directory. Bluetooth works with my Rock Out from Goal Zero and my Yamaha stereo clean sound and different formats and modes seem crisp and clear. Button pad is responsive and layout works okay. Using this makes me think my next one will have a bigger display so I can see the contents easier but otherwise its a very dependable playback machine and lightweight and the splash guard cover is appreciated when I am hiking.

1st let me say that I like how small it is that way I can clip it to my shirt or put in my pocket and it doesn't add hardly any weight. But on the downside it is so small that my big hands have to hold it with both of my hands to operate the buttons. That's not a deal breaker for me, just an observation. I gave it 3 stars because it does scratch very easily and every time you turn it on, you have to turn the Bluetooth on. Considering the fact that this is supposed to work with wireless headsets, I wish Bluetooth would come on as soon as you turn the device on, but it doesn't. But I will say that it does pair to the wireless headsets I bought fairly easily and for an MP3 player it does what it's supposed to do. The internal memory is 8GB and you can upgrade with a micro SD card from there but 8 gigabytes should be plenty for me. Mine came with a, what they are calling, waterproof silicone case that is supposed to keep sweat out when you are working out. I haven't worked out with it yet so I will have to see about that. the armband is for average size people. It does fit on my upper arm but is very tight with my big arms. I've only had the thing for a few hours so time will tell if this is gonna be a good product in the long run.
