Poor cushioning. Spend $8 more and get the proper Bose replacements

These cushions were unfortunately very dissapointing. They are noticeably smaller, less cushioned and feel harder than original ear cushions. They were so uncomfortable that I ended up returning them and have since purchased the official Bose replacements which are much better.
Photo demonstrates the difference in padding. Save yourself the hassle and just get the proper Bose replacements.

Going from genuine BOSE ear cushions to these is a step-down. Having used my bose for so long I forgot how comfortable they were. Rather than going with a $5 version from eBay, I went with something I'd hoped was a little more premium, especially at the asking price. These are not bad if you are short for money, does the job well enough - but can start to feel uncomfortable if after long periods of usage. You can definitely buy cheaper knock offs in my personal opinion. If you have the extra $10, I would definitely recommend ordering directly from the BOSE website. Delivery and service were all great.

Not quite the same as the originals

The material on the outside feels better than the original Bose and the seams look to be stronger. But there is something just a bit different about the foam. It's not as soft or maybe it's not as hard, or maybe it's not as thick. This in no way makes the product any worse, it's way better than having foam falling out.

Firstly, I didn’t notice this replacement is NOT a Bose genuine product. On receipt, the product seems to present reasonable quality but it is quite hard to install/click on. When pushing to click using the included plastic tool, it can easily damage the side of the replacing ear cushions. When looking closely and comparing with the genuine Bose product, this product appears inferior.

Slightly tedious to install the replacements but a video link / QR code comes with the ear pads so you can watch the process. Takes about 10 minutes. I didn't like the fitting/install process. It was a lot harder than the last time when I used the official Bose replacement ear cushions. I think the size (on mine at least) are a fraction too big, resulting in me having to use an uncomfortable amount of force. This is minor though, and would only deduct 1/2 a star if I could.

I like the the build quality, the comfort of the memory foam padding, and the feel of the material.

Product good all round. I can't notice a difference between my original ones and these from comfort or visual perspective. I've only had them on for a couple of weeks so its a bit early to determine if there are any issues with how long they will last, but I don't see any reason why they won't last as long as the real ones.

Ich trage meine Bose QC35 jeden Tag ca. 1-2 Stunden. Die original Polster haben nach einem Jahr erste Gebrauchsspuren gezeigt, was mich zum Kauf dieser neuen veranlasst hat. Mir war anfangs nicht bewusst, dass es sich hier nicht um original Polster von Bose handelt, was mir aber prinzipiell egal gewesen wäre, solange sie ihren Zweck erfüllen. Alles in allem sei gesagt: Ja, sie erfüllen ihren Zweck. Sie passen problemlos auf die Kopfhörer und lassen sich auch relativ schnell und einfach tauschen. Jedoch habe ich beim ersten aufsetzen direkt gemerkt, dass der Komfort nicht mehr der gleiche ist. Wie gesagt, ich trage die Kopfhörer jeden Tag und deswegen ist mir das sofort aufgefallen, was aber nicht heißt, dass diese Polster schlecht sind. Der Komfort mit den neuen ist nach wie vor sehr angenehm und gut, jedoch war es vorher so, als ob man sich Watte oder eine Wolke ans Ohr packt. Das war einfach so unfassbar angenehm und hat mich total fasziniert, als ich mir damals die Kopfhörer gekauft habe. Auch hab ich das Gefühl, dass durch die neuen Ohrpolster das Noise cancelling minimal schlechter ist, da sie eben nicht mehr so 100%ig weich sind und quasi mit dem Ohr verschmelzen. Alles in allem kann man bei dem Preis aber nicht meckern und ich bereue den Kauf nicht, aber falls die Dinger irgendwann auch verschlissen sind, werde ich mir wieder die original Bose holen, auch wenn diese angeblich von der Haltbarkeit begrenzt sind, was ich selber nach einem Jahr feststellen musste. Eventuell halten diese Ersatzpolster ja sogar länger, weil das Material eben nicht mehr so super soft ist aber das wird sich zeigen.

Fazit: Für den Preis absolut Top aber an die original Polster von Bose kommen sie nicht ran

The pad on the right is the replacement. Can't tell the difference. So comfy and easy to install. Came with the left and right fabric on inside, but I only changed the pad. My original pad was totally shredded from use. But these expensive headphones still worked perfectly. I looked for a replacement cushion and found this product.

Absolutely delighted with it. The price was excellent for what you get: 2 cushions, 2 liners and a tool to help remove and replace the parts.

Had next day delivery with Prime and am a delighted customer.

A great replacement

Although they do not feel as good as the QC35's pads did, they don't feel bad. My old ones have been hammered. I use them on a daily basis for hours and as a result the lads had started to fall apart a bit, but more importantly they had started to loose any bounce leading to them sinking into the ear cups and not really providing much cushioning. I read the reviews for this product and deciding to give it a go. Instalation is straight forward although a little finicky at times. But within 10 minutes I had brand new looking ear pads that look identical to the last and have much more support to them. As many QC35 owners have discovered the headphones themselves last for a very long time so why replace them when the only issue is the wearing pads. I'd highly recommend for £12 and they have brought a new lease of life to my beloved headphones.

A pretty good replacement

The ear cushions on my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones, became worn out from excessive usage... They were no longer fit for purpose, the foam had started to come out of the cushions. I think these replacements make for a very good fit. They come with a QR code, which links to a YouTube video of instructions for replacing them. It is not too difficult to do the replacement. I literally just completed them just now, after watching the video once. It took me about 15 minutes, not bad for a first attempt.

While they do make for an adequate replacement, i'm pretty sure that the foam they use is not the same as the Bose memory foam. My ears could feel the difference. But anyway its better than how i had them before with the foam falling out, they looked like they needed to be thrown out. Now they look almost as good as new! Nobody would ever be able to tell that the cushions have been replaced by looking at them. I guess if you were familiar with original Bose ear cushions then you might be able to tell if you were wearing them for an extended time period. So far they are good, the comfort is still great.

Not standard, but better!

This is not exactly the same as the original headband, but I actually think it is more comfortable with slightly thicker padding. The only thing you need to be sure about is if you are happy with the change in look of the headband - you end up with two slight protrusions at the end of the padded band section. Fitment might be a little daunting to some people as you have cut the old band off, but it comes with a link to an informative video and that gave me the confidence to complete the installation. Item was Delivered quickly and complete with everything you need to install - except a pair of scissors!

The ear pads are comfortable and high quality; the covering material does not feel like it will rip or tear easily. These are much better than some other non original replacements available on Amazon. I think they comparable with OE Bose items for fit, comfort and quality. This whole kit is the price of OE ear pads, and when ordered direct from BOSE took a long time to be delivered.

Overall very happy; it has refreshed my favourite headphones and made them a dream again.
