Product description
ASUS (PCE-AC68) Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter
From the manufacturer

ASUS PCE-AC68 802.11ac Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter
The ASUS PCE-AC68 is a 802.11ac Wi-Fi PCI Express adapter which upgrades your desktop from tangle-some Ethernet cables to carefree industry-leading 802.11ac at up to 1.3Gbps. Plus, the stylish external magnetized antenna base gives you more flexibility in adjusting antenna placement to get the best signal reception quality possible.
Broadcom TurboQAM hardware integrated on the PCE-AC68 brings the speed benefits of next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. At 600Mbit/s and 1.3Gbit/s respectively, they turn the PCE-AC68 into a formidable AC1900 wireless adapter, providing speeds that cannot be bettered by generic wireless adapters. Connect the PCE-AC68 to ASUS networks to attain the very highest possible Wi-Fi speeds.
At a Glance
- 802.11ac chipset gives you up to 1.3Gbps of throughput
- Flexible extended antenna for optimal reception
- No more messy ethernet cables needed
- High-power design clears dead zones with 150% greater coverage
- Custom heatsink dissipates heat for more stable and reliable non-stop operation

Extend Your Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi-connection strength varies based on your environment, so the PCE-AC68 intelligently detects wireless router locations and ‘shapes’ data transmissions using three external antennas and high-powered beam-packing — assuring the fastest stable connection.

No More Dead Zones
Powerful two-way transmission and a signal-boosting high-gain design give the PCE-AC68 improved two-way transmission that extends Wi-Fi range and coverage by up to 150% compared to generic client devices. This extended reach means the elimination of dead spots at any location, offering fast and uninterrupted HD streaming and smooth multiplayer gaming wherever you may be.

Flexible Antenna Placement
The three detachable antennas of the PCE-AC68 can be placed remotely via bundled extension cables. A magnetized stand also comes in the box, which can easily attach to various surfaces for more placement options. By making the antennas mobile, the design offers more flexibility in choosing locations for better signal reception and quality.

Stylish Aluminum Heatsink
The added heatsink uses highly-conductive aluminum to remove heat from the chipset, ensuring greater reliability for non-stop operation. Lower temperatures translate into a more stable device in all climate conditions, even during hot summers, and greater stability means more consistent connectivity and longer product lifespan. Plus, the heatsink has been crafted for a stylish look, once more showing ASUS always goes beyond the specifications.

Im so glad i bought this. Good bye old WiFi card :D
Garbage reception. If you're more than 5m from the WiFi router than don't bother. Even then it drops out randomly.
Drivers are bad and hang when you try to install.
Seriously click away.

<<This client card supports windows 10 plug and play. Do not need driver CD, driver is included in Windows 10. When the client card is inserted into a computer, Windows attempts to download and install the client card driver if it is not already available on the computer.>>
- Hago caso y no instalo nada.
Proveedor: Broadcom, Fecha: 03/02/2016, Versión: 7.35.317.3, Firmante digital: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher
Funciona perfectamente.
* Actualización 14/08/2019:

When you download the drivers for this wifi adaptor from the Asus website, do not download the windows 10 drivers. Download the windows 8.1 drivers (yes, even if you have windows 10). When installing the drivers, do not install the utility app, install just the drivers (you don’t needn’t the utility app anyways). This was the only way this wifi card would work for me, but now that I’ve got it working it works great. I docked a star from the product review because tbh asus should fix its drivers to work with windows ten but whatcha gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The issue I've noticed with this is actually Windows' fault. By default the power settings for Wifi Cards, for some dumb reason, have "turn this off to save power" function ticked as on.
So, go to Device Manager, find "Broadcom" right click and choose properties... power management and UN-TICK the box. Otherwise, you'll be downloading a game on steam for example, it'll get 1GB of it, then drop connection.
Since I made that alteration it's been perfect. I was able to run Spotify, Steam downloading a game, watching a twitch stream and using youtube in chrome all at once and didn't notice any problems.
My only beef is, the LED on the device is pretty bright and it's BLUE, and Wifi traffic tends to cause it to flicker on and off to show it's status, so it can get annoying. I'll be covering it up I think.
