To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
If you look at the product title, AT&T ATCLP99007 na 1-Handset Landline Telephone, if you're like me, you would think it is a working phone. It is NOT. It is a handset that has to pair with a special phone. I ordered that special phone, and two weeks later, am still waiting for it. DO NOT BUY this unless you have the special phone. You'll be unhappy, as am I at this time. BTW - the seller of the special phone doesn't communicate well, either. Terrible, terrible description and service.
I Love, Love, Love this Phone!!! I have 4 total in my house. Not more unwanted calls. If you’re not in the directory you go right to voice mail. Phone doesn’t even ring if you’re not in the directory. Peace and quiet!! Highly recommend this phone system.
When my Panasonic phones had battery problems, I decided it was better to buy new phones for $20 then new Panasonic batteries for $20. These phones work well. My wife would prefer a different ringer sound (there are multiple but she doesn't like any of them). I removed one star because the phone is rather rectangular and not very comfortable to hold in your hand for long periods of time. This seems to be typical of all these types of phones, so I wouldn't not buy this phone just because of that.
We had a Panasonic whose answering machine messages were no longer clear and a handset that kept breaking up. So we bought this one. Still have the breaking up issue; it is not intuitive in use; the manual is not easy to follow; and so far we have been unable to get the caller ID function working consistently. It does have Smart Phone feature that will stop all robocalls. When it functions, the caller has to hit pound before they are connected. But that is a pain for regular callers you do want to reach you, so we shut it down
