High-Quality Picture, Sound, and Ethernet in one Cable:
Delivering clear, vibrant video, the AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet meets HDMI 2.0 standards, which means it considerably expands bandwidth up to 18 Gbps, offers 4K@50/60 (2160p) video resolution (four times more clarity than 1080p/60), and supports the wide-angle theatrical 21:9 video aspect ratio.
The cable also offers dynamic synchronization of video and audio stream: it can deliver two video streams (dual view) simultaneously and up to four audio streams simultaneously. Even more, the HDMI cable supports up to 32 audio channels and up to 1536 kHz total audio. CEC extensions provide increased command of your electronic devices through a single control point.
The versatile cable’s built-in Ethernet allows for sharing an Internet connection among multiple devices—no need for separate Ethernet cables. Enjoy HD video and digital audio combined into one cable with the Ethernet-ready High-Speed HDMI Cable from AmazonBasics.
Gold-Plated Connectors for Superior Conductivity:
The AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable’s gold-plated, corrosion-resistant connectors (A Male to A Male) deliver optimal signal transfer with lower distortion at the point of contact. This dedication to the digital signal provides sound and picture quality that is truer to the original. The HDMI cable also comes with a durable, black, PVC outer layer and shielding, which protects against outside interference, helping to maintain the integrity and purity of the digital signal.

My ageing hearing makes it impossible for me to claim to be an audiophile but crisp reproduction is important and these cables are matched up with a Yamaha 7:2 AV amp, Samsung 49" HDR TV and Samsung native 4K Bluray player. Even with a standard definition source, reproduction is excellent giving sharp pictures and well defined sound. At 4K reproduction is superb, there is no colour bleed, artefacts or distortions.
At a fraction of the cost of high end cables I'm impressed.
Amazon's 'Basic' offering does pretty much everything I could want (or hope) for, with the least amount of fuss and at a very good (let's be honest, it's hard to beat) price.
I only had an urgent need for one cable, but know full well that I'll need more HDMI cables in the future (it's pretty much the 'go to' connector for my audio / visual stuff, inc. computer monitors) and the step up in cost from one cable to three hardly made any difference at all.
The first thing I like is 'the no fuss' packaging. I don't have to fight to get into the cables, and they're also safely packed and wound with a 'twist tie'. The ends are also protected / capped, but it's a breeze to get a cable out, unpacked and ready to go.
In this particular setup, I was connecting a (new) 4K Player to a matched TV / Screen.
Now, I've no base-line or reference with any other cable available to me, but I'm still impressed (yes, new kit will do that!) and I don't believe that this cable has in any way limited performance (picture is superb!)
I did try another cable (same set) for audio output and, as expected, everything was spot on there as well.
Can it be improved? Well, there's room for improvement with just about everything and I'm more limited by space. Personally, It's be nice to have (option) 90 degree (or angled) connectors, to sit in flush with devices, but that really is me just being picky (and admitting that I like neat cable runs).
Connectors are a nice clean, snug fit and cables are nice and pliable, without feeling flimsy.
Oh, one note is that the lengths are (in my case) absolutely spot on, so there's no 'little bit extra', if you've measured things out to be exact. Again, not a compliant, but something to consider (maybe go up a length, if you're in any way worried about cable runs).

They ate metal bodied, small footprint (great as I have 3 on the desk) and clear red LED I/P and O/P display. The IR remote works fine, but as I have three they get confused so put them away and manual press the front button.
No viewable drop in picture quality, as use these for monitors I do not use the sound over HDMI. I am not a gamer so can not comment on high speed response or any lag if any.
