Build Quality: Best quality inexpensive headphones I've purchased. Thoughtful design / well constructed
Comfort: More comfortable than my Powerbeats 3, and similar to Powerbeats 3 they stay in during a workout
Battery: Lasted 12 HOURS+ in my experience
Waterproof: Was sweat-proof (waterproof claim not tested)
Instructions & Packaging: Professionally packaged, easy-to-read instructions, nice zip up carry pouch and spare grommets
Product Support: N/A untested at time of writing (I have had no product issues)
Sound Quality: good if you like listening to audiobooks, news or talkback radio, Average for music comparative to high-end headphones but better than comparative blue tooth headphones in similar price range that I've tried..
Overall: Good value for money. I'd never heard of "ANKER" before, but believe this company will be successful in the future. Product quality and presentation is excellent and I really hope that Anker add a more "high fidelity" headphone product to their future product line-up and go after the high end market segment as well as the low end market segment. I'd be keen to buy one of their products again.
I contacted Anker customer service and described the issues I am facing, they suggested some basic troubleshooting actions like keeping the phone in front pocket and so on but that didn't work, and in the meanwhile I started the return process with Amazon.
Anker contacted me back and asked for the invoice, once provided they sent an e-mail that a replacement is in its way and few days after, I got a replacement and thanks God, a working one this time, no audio stream interruptions, not auto turn off and no noise generation in audio calls, still in high wind while riding the bike the other person can't hear me very well but way better than the defective first one.
Audio quality is very good and the best thing is the battery life, seems to last forever with casual use.
I sent my feedback to Anker and told them that Amazon already processed the return and returned my money and their reply was to keep the new one as an apology for the bad experience that I had with the first one !!
My overall experience with Anker customer service was very positive and I regained my trust in Anker products.
They have excellent sound, reliable fit, and large enough to house a long lasting battery - the problem is, that the battery is really inconsistent in what it produces...
My girlfriend's pair last a long time, but my pair only last 4 hours, which is not good enough when you advertise 12.5 hours. The large battery is the main reason to buy this model, given Anker are such a great battery company it's a bit disappointing that these batteries seem to be hit and miss. Hopefully it's only a rare occurrence.
In summary, if you get a pair with a good battery, it is 5/5 stars, but without that main drawcard, it sadly has to be 3/5.
Customer service is great, definitely recommend buying these if you want a budget set of Bluetooth earphones.

I bought these since I didn't want to ruin the 4-5 times more expensive X3s during intense cardio or weight lifting. I found the Anker soundbuds curve and bought them thinking they wouldn't even come close. I was completely wrong!!! They are just as good sound quality wise. They have more base than the X3s and the highs might not be as pronounced, but overall just as good.
As for the fit, the fit is even better on my ears and are much more comfortable than the X3s. The ear hooks are more secure than the Jaybirds so I don't have to worry about them falling out.
Do not waste you money on expensive bluetooth earbuds. To me these are more than adequate.
For reference, I have owned many high end headphones and speakers. I am used to expensive headphones such as the HD800s and LCD3s. I also own KEF LS50s, Q150s. I have also owned a numbner of Klipsch and Elac speakers . The Ankers come no where near these of course but compared to the Jaybird they are just as good.
Sound quality is very good, and they do a very good job of filling the ear so as to block out outside noises. The only downside I found was that having worn them for several hours on the flight, I found my ear hurt slightly where they had been sitting. Never used any earphones for that long before in one go, so expect it is the same for all though.
They come with a case to store/transport them in (it is quite bulky so not one to put in your pocket), and an array of changeable buds of varying sizes and shape, as well as a very small USB charge cable.
On the subject of battery - I have not run them flat yet, but on a recent flight I had them in constant use listening to an audio book for 8 hours (before my ear hurt and I had to take a break) and then several smaller stints for the rest of the journey, and they were still going strong, so suspect the claimed 12 hours could be a reliable figure,
The Curves have proven themselves to have pretty decent sound quality for their price range - if a little bass heavy. The bass is definitely excusable when you consider that these are sport earphones; matched with the aptx support they have the perfect sound signature to drown out your thoughts at the gym or out on a run.
The build quality has been A* so far; I lost the little cable clip in a bag after a couple of months, but the tshirt clip has stayed put, the earphones show no marks, and the hooks haven't cracked or cut up my ears. The waterproofing is a blessing too, for the abuse they've been put through at the gym. The wings included in the package help keep the earphones extra secure, and the range of tips has been fine for me. As with all earphones, you're probably better off picking up foam tips if you're truly concerned about sound isolation and quality.
The case is a standard touch, but I appreciate that it contains a pouch inside for the tips and wings (good when you're new to the earphones/carrying a micro USB cable to charge with) and the carabiner on the case is a nice touch.
The biggest sell for me has been the battery life. They can easily last a couple of working days of virtual meetings in the office, some music, and then an hour or two at the gym without a problem. They're almost too good, as you get out the habit of charging them as often as you might a phone!
My only notable complaint would be the poor quality of the microphone, but its something I'm yet to find that is any good for any bluetooth earphones in the is price category. Overall, it's definitely a hearty recommendation from me!
I am extremely satisfied with the quality thus far.
I use the headphones mainly connected to my phone as a headset and have left my phone lying on the job site as I walked around and have had no issues with it staying connected.
Similar products I couldn’t have my phone in the opposite pocket as the earbud without it disconnecting.
Very happy with the size selection and quality of the earbud parts. Took some time to get the right combination but I found it and they fit in and stay in.
Definitely will be buying more in the future for wife and kids.
