Naughty Dog, Inc. is an American video game developer based in Santa Monica, California. Founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin in 1984 as an independent developer, the studio was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001. Gavin and Rubin produced a sequence of progressively more successful games, including Rings of Power for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Way of the Warrior for the 3DO. The latter, a very low-budget but still plausible offering, prompted Universal Interactive Studios to sign the duo to a three-title deal and fund the expansion of the company. The author lives in Santa Monica, CA..

Just like the other art of uncharted trilogy and the last of Us , a brilliant work of art full of sketches, designs, narrative that'll inspire you and if nothing else will make you appreciate the amount of work that goes into creating those wonderful games......
I brought this book because I'm a big fan of the Uncharted series, especially this game. I wasn't quite sure what to expect (artwork, obviously) but I was very pleasantly surprised. There's lots of different artwork of characters and environments, and there's also text explaining about some of the art and the thinking behind them. The thing I liked about this book and its content was that you also get final renders of the character models so you can see how they went from concept to final result. Also, as I've seen some artwork from the Bonus section of Uncharted 4, I thought I was going to see more of the same, but I saw some artwork I hadn't seen before, like more concept art of Rafe, for example. Generally, I'm very happy with my purchase and pleased that I got this, as a fan of the series.
Loved this so much, had gotten the last of us one and then purchased this because the good quality both books shared-- extremely hand and beautifully detailed.
