Product description
The AK Jr gives everyone the opportunity to comfortably listen to high resolution audio, anytime and anywhere.
Although some of the first Astell&Kern players were a portable device, its relatively large size made it less convenient for some. The AK Jr's compact design delivers the highest sound quality while fitting comfortably in your pocket.
Carrying a small concert in the palm of your hands with the AK Jr!
This AK Jr has been reborn as "SUPER JUNIOR x AK Jr" through collaboration with Super Junior, the K-Pop group at the top of their game for the past decade.
Tailored to users already familiar with smartphones, the SUPER JUNIOR x AK Jr features a simple design and the autographs of Super Junior members are emblazoned on the back of the sapphire-blue aluminum body.
The front of the unit and aluminum volume wheel are engraved with Super Junior's "SJ" initial logo, plus the product's special gift box and certificate of guarantee feature photos of Super Junior members for added uniqueness.
Best of all, the SUPER JUNIOR x AK Jr features high-definition Super Junior music remastered specially for this collaboration and available for the first time ever!

This is a very neat, very impressive and very high quality bit of gear. Smaller than my iPhone5s, much easier to use than my ten year old Creative Zen XFi2. For example, volume knob removes much of the Zen's frustration.
J'utilise ce baladeur audio depuis 1 an.
Since there are few to none good sounding affordable hi-res bluetooth PMP's available any more, this discounted AK Jr fills a need. It plays well with my Sony WH-1000X M2's, just loud enough. The package is adamant about ONLY using the included USB cord to avoid damage. Too bad it didn't work very often when hooking up for drag and drop. My trusty old Cowon cable worked flawlessly. Speaking of, I think that my 6 year old Z2 sounds better than the AK. The Cowon had more heft to the bass and less congestion on the treble. At least they both play WMAL files. I could not hear a difference between WMAL or FLAC to WAV on the AK, contrary to their sound on the Cowon. I can not determine if it is do to more efficient decoding or less resolution. The AK's EQ is also bare bones compared to Jet Audio. The UI is intuitive and solid compared to constant freeze up, reboots on the uncertified Android 2.3.5 monstrosity that is my Z2. The scrolling IS slow but if you like your playlists as folders in random like me it's a none issue. Conclusion, if you want a hi-res (up to 24-192) bluetooth player that sounds good under $250, this works. AK Jr's are out of production after selling for years @$500. When they're gone they are...

Fairly high end audiophile here... was looking for a step up from iPods for my new car stereo speaker install - got a monster system done by Hertz - check them out if you're looking for superior car audio! Got this tiny AK and could not be more pleased so far. It was easy to copy music too from my Mac, pairing took a few tries - that could have been my car's fault, despite it being a 2019... but WOW once it synced and the music started pumping I was SOLD. Beyond clear, beyond full sound, all 6.1 speakers were producing things I'd not heard previously. Folks, give up the iPods, this is where it's at. Not all my music is .m4a, but this device makes them all sound like it. Don't use this with cheap headphones, you're defeating the purpose. My Bang & Olufsen set are performing like never before. A&K, you have knocked it out of the park!

Night and day Vs. my iPhome SE. I loaded my AK Jr. up with some FLAC files and am blown away by how good it sounds. This player is a super deal compared to the regular model. I’ve never heard Super Jr. and will delete the files. I only wish this thing had WiFi. Streaming music would be amazing. I’m going to try it with my car stereo later tonight.
