Update Nov 19 2020
The Lockerstor Pro 10 Bay (AS7110T) exceeds any expectations I have had. Once my issues were straightened out by Asutor Technical Support. I own over 16 Asustor NAS units. I also own a Synology DS1621xs+. ASUSTOR has a winner with the Lockerstor Pro. From what I have configured and used in service compared with the Synology DS1621xs+; the Synology DS1621xs+ will be sold. I have attached several multi-bay USB 3.2 Hard Drives Bays to this unit and it flies. Would I buy another one? Yes. Will I? Yes.
Update Nov 4 2020
New unit has exceeded expectations. NVME 1.92TB x 2 IronWolf SSD and Seagate 6 x 10TB IronWolf Pro 64GIGS - unit flies.
Original Unit Had Issues
Out of respect for Asustor I am changing my review. Asustor replaced my unit via RMA. I was informed of an issue with the supplier of their memory modules. Customer support has been a positive experience. I do not like to give a bad rating on any Asustor product but at the end of the day it appears that sometimes these things happen. The unit is now up and running today and will re-edit this review once I can get a week under my belt. Please keep in mind that I was an early adopter of this unit and I have been using Asustor products since 2012 and have only had two issues - the other a bad power supply on a brand new AS-606T. Currently I am basing my review on the replacement of the unit and customer service. I will re-advise in a week.
