Keeps water cold - was much bigger than I expected

I love that this water bottle has a big straw opening, it doesn't leak when the straw lid is closed, and it keeps water cold for more than 24 hours (even here in Queensland where it's been over 30 degrees most days and up to 40 on some).

What I didn't expect was how large it was, 40oz is huge (I should've googled it in ml before hand) but it's over 1L and that makes it quite heavy when empty let alone full, and it doesn't fit any cup holders in the car. The picture show the comparison to a non-insulated water bottle that fits easily in my cup holder and is about 800-850ml.

It is good for making sure I drink plenty of water though and good for when I'm out with the kids for a short while and don't want to take 3 water bottles.

What's less obvious in the advertisements is that this product ships with 2 lids, its not an illustration you actually get two lids with this. The basic lid and a straw lid. The person i bought this for dislikes straw lids and thankfully it shipped with both. The thermo qualities of this bottle are the same as the more expensive competitors but at a more affordable price point. This product deserves 5 stars, given they ship a better product for cheaper and include two types of lids.

Bottle is bigger then I imagined, but is really good. Good quality, the Blue colour is actually nuclear darker then pictured more of a navy blue then aqua. Carry pouch was slightly damaged with unraveled stitching, but still functions well enough.
Theo only real flaw is that when using the straw lid, the straw isn't long enough to get all liquid out, you are left with about a cup at the bottom unable to reach. Not a huge deal - just mildly annoying if you track water intake.
Water also doesn't seem to stay cold as long as stated - unsure if this is only when straw lid is attached though.

Look, it’s a good drink bottle but is is HUGE. I like it, seems to be good quality and straw works well. However I thought it would be smaller (my own mistake) and it’s on the edge of impractical. On a hot day at home I plan to fill it will ice water, it’ll be nice to have a large amount of cold water at my desk. If you need to stay hydrated at work and you commute by car or work from home, this would be good. I would not recommend this to anyone who relies on public transport/cycles/walks as it’s not extremely heavy but it’s not light

After a week of owning and using the bottle, i can finally review it. The quality of the bottle is excellent, not slippery when you hold it and has a premium feel to it, does not feel cheap.
This is my on the go water bottle, i use it all the time now, at home/work/gym and have no issue with it, it does exactly what it says, keeps water cold for a really long time. I filled the bottle with ice and it had ice inside for a day and a half, all i had to do was refill water when needed. I did not try hot/warm water so i am not sure how long it keeps that but for cold water this bottle is great. one downside is that its large and might not fit on your standard cup/bottle holders.

Also comes with two straws and a straw lid that works good. no odour or metallic taste like some other bottles i have had before. overall this bottle is a must buy if you're after a great insulated bottle that will last you a long time.

I've had other metal water containers that have a valve that is the same as those found on plastic containers and they don't work because you can't squeeze a metal container. With this one, I pull the tab to raise the straw and this is also reveals a small hole in the lid that allows air to escape so that I can easily drink, despite not being able to squeeze a metal bottle. I still have to be careful while drinking, because for some reason, it is slightly easier for the water to go down the wrong way than it is with a plastic squeeze bottle.

Great bottle. It has a premium feel and cap options are great. It will keep the water cold but ice will still melt fairly quickly if sitting in water (with star lid). However; I took all water out, filled it with ice and not 1 drop of water came out after 2 hours (still all frozen) on a hot night. Would definitely recommend.

The sports cap snapped off after about 3 months which was the first disappointment, so I carried on using it with the screw cap instead but in just under a year the steel started to rust inside the bottle, especially near the neck of the bottle so the water would taste really strongly of rust so had to throw it away.

Otherwise it did keep the water cold for a good 24 hours but I guess it's low grade steel.

I can't recommend the product, unless you are prepared to replace it every 10 months.

I bought this water bottle for the weekend's camping. It arrived very quickly, I decided to try it this morning and put in some ice cubes at 8.00 am. Incredibly, most of the ice cubes are still there now, 11.30pm. Here are some pros and cons.

Pros:
1. Unbelievably effective at holding temperature. I put ice cubes in the bottle in the morning and I got ices cubes (not ice water) at the end of the day.
2. It comes with an extra straw lid and two straws, so I can use the different caps at the different scenes. I will definitely use the straw lid this weekend, as it's really convenient.
2. Doesn’t has leftover flavors
3. Easy to clean, it's wide mouth bottle, it is very easy to put the brush into the bottle to clean it.
4. Nice and cool powder coat, it's not slippy at all.
5. It’s highly cost effective, not expensive compared to other brand

Cons:
1. 40oz (almost 1L) size is really too big for the girls, but as a human, we do need at least 1 L water for a day.
2. It’s heavier than the plastic bottles, obviously

I absolutely will recommend this water bottle to my friends; hope my review will help the one who wants to buy a water bottle.

I have now purchased 3 of these bottles (one for work, one for home, and one for a family member). For the price point, these bottles cannot be beat. They come with their own drinking straw, which is usually $15 alone. That means, depending on the current price, you are getting the bottle for about $5-$10. It works as advertised. I have tried hot liquids, cold liquids and they keep their temp for at least the length of a work day+.

The one time I had a problem (a defect in the lid), the manufacturer replaced the lid - no hassles, no cost. It all transpired over email. Top notch in my book.
