A Timeless Symbol
In Chinese philosophy, the yin yang symbol represents the interconnectedness of light and darkness. Accompanied by the immortal words of Lao Tzu, it provides a helpful reminder to stay grounded and embrace life even when things get messy.
Elegant and Sturdy
Words and art are stamped on the front in shining gold foil on a coated, matte black background.
Bookmark is made from thick, sturdy card stock designed to last.
The back of the bookmark is imprinted with a ruler in inches and centimeters.
Tassel and Bead
A silky black tassel and textured golden bead make this bookmark a stylish keepsake. It’s a great little gift for graduations and other key life events.
Keep your books pristine by marking your page with this classic black and gold bookmark. Adorned with the yin yang symbol and wisdom from philosopher Lao Tzu, it will keep your place without the damage of dog-eared pages. Thick coated card stock won’t crumple or shred. A coordinating tassel and bead adorn the bookmark and will hang decoratively from the spine of your book.

Our Company History
In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter--and later, his wife, Edna--sought to create fine books that sold at prices even a pauper could afford.
Today, still family owned and operated, Peter Pauper Press continues to honor our founders’ legacy and our customers’ expectations of beauty, quality, and value.
