Peter Cox and Richard Drummie, better known as Go West, were an important part of the music scene in the 1980's. Peter has the most richest voice which change from pop-rock to ballad to smooth jazz without losing its wonderful tone. This 'best of' is exactly what it says, a best of. The first four singles, "We Close Our Eyes", "Don't Look Down", "Call Me" and the ballad "Goodbye Girl" were a success in the charts (which to be honest I'm not bothered about. If it's a great song then it doesn't matter about the charts, but that's just me). The track "One Way Street" was used in the movie Rocky IV and the surprise guest backing vocals of Kate Bush on the track "The King Is Dead" gives us a wonderful insight to just how good Go West really are.
Blast from the past - 80's if your old enough. If not, great tunes - don't think there's one bad song on the album - which is unusual as most albums have one or two good songs and the rest of the album is rubbish. Not the case with this album!
