Ruined my dimmer switch. I bought this as one of the few "dimmable" options out there, and the product I wanted wasn't available. They installed fine but did NOT get along well with my dimmer. On full power, the transformers in the light sockets were buzzing, and the lights were flickering. I took them right out and put back in the old bulbs but my dimmer was cooked. Glad I got them out before something more serious happened. I will buy a better brand next time!!
These LED lights seem to be a great replacement for our old pot lights. They don't dim quite as much but if you are replaceing all your old pot lights at the same time, this won't be a problem. If just replacing one in a set of lights, you will notice a difference in the level of brightness/dimness.

At roughly $5 each, these MR16 LEDs are an amazing value!
I have compared these against 20 watt halogen bulbs, 50 watt halogen bulbs and Green Creative Titanium LED Series 4.0 LEDs. My contractor price at lighting unlimited is $16/each for Green Creative Titanium LED Series 4.0 (Green Creative 40759 - 7W - LED - MR16 - 3000K ). These $5 Bioluz MR16 LED have a better color tone and better spread than the Green Creative. The Green Creative is almost slightly white/pink where as the Bioluz is closer to a true white (not warm white). I am saving $100 per 10 lights and honestly think these Bioluz have the best look.
I have attached a photo to show you the color and look. These photos are taken at night in a 30 x 30 room with 14' ceilings. The lights in the background are TCP LED8R20D27K Dimmable 8W Smooth R20 - 2700K R20 base bulbs in the 4" cans. I can also highly recommend the TCP 8W if you are looking for something just slightly brighter than a normal 45 watt incandescent in your R20 base fixtures.... You will see the 4" can lights in the background (The TCP LEDs) are more warm yellow. The Bioluz MR16s will be more of a white halogen look. Again. They are the best 50 watt equivalent MR16s I can find. I consider them to be better than a standard 50 watt halogen. Great value.
In this one room, we are going from 11 lights x 50 watts (550 watts) to 11 lights x 7 watts (77 watts). I will post updates if the bulbs burn out or I have problems.
I've spent hours swapping and comparing lights so please click the link below if this review helps you save time or money.
