5.0 out of 5 stars Early heavy Sabbath!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 July 2020
Their first, and I think one of their best!
The first track "Black Sabbath" is full of dark imagery, that to me is far darker than any other heavy band has committed to an album. As it's of an early period of rock music, the running time of the cd is relatively short. But what they put down in the studio to here, is all good solid Sabbath stuff!!! And the last track catches you out with its hidden playing length, Tony Iommi
laying down some great varied riffs for 10:28 minutes.
Some of it may sound a little dated, but then it was pressed in 1970, and Ozzie is in a very fine powerful youthful voice .
I wore out my vinyl version, and this disc will be well played too!!
