I was able to connect easily to all my bluetooth devices. The shuffle mode works thru all the sub directories; so you can organize your music by artists and albums on the device. I have used the player while working out and doing outdoor yard tasks. The bluetooth connection holds strong. I have the 32 GB player. I have noticed that the max number on the player indicates that I only have 4000 song on the player when I have twice that many. It does not seem to have affected the selecting and playing of songs. The other features are nice but I use this as mainly an MP3 player, however the watch feature is nice. The time display is nice and large. The player holds a charge for a long time. For the cost this player is one of the best I have found

The DONEST MP3 Player has a 2.4" screen, touch screen controls, supports voice recording, E-Books, pictures, FM Radio, 32GB of storage, has Bluetooth 4.2 support, and the package includes a USB cable for data transfer and charging. As a bonus, wired earbuds and a sport armband are also provided. The player has a power button to power on, wake the screen and power off. Two volume buttons can be used whether the screen is displayed or off. A nice feature of the player that I like is that it can support a 128GB flash card to expand the storage, which I found is more than most players can support.

Overall, this is a very nice little player that could get much, much better after some iterations on the software. The hardware is quite good.

Pros
* Micro-USB for charging and data, no proprietary connector.
* Inexpensive.
* The screen is bright and colorful.
* Good weight (light enough, but feels sturdy and well built)
* A very complete little package with a clip, a watch-style band, a strap, and an actually decent pair of earbuds.

Cons
* The touch screen is very much under-utilized. No scrolling, swiping or anything like that. A little frustrating when you're trying to go through a list of files and the only options are tapping on "previous" and "next" in the corners of the screen.
* Lacking controls while playing. On the "playing" screen, you get "back" (short press to skip back, long press to fast forward), play/pause, and forward (same long/short distinction). You can't "seek" to a particular point in the file by touching or dragging, and even pressing "forward" for a long time doesn't gradually increase the speed as is fairly common for this sort of UI.
* Touch targets are too small. To play/pause you need to hit the very small play/pause button in the bottom center of the screen, while most of the rest of the screen real estate isn't responsive to touch events at all.
* Doesn't automatically reconnect with bluetooth headsets when turned on. I would suggest using this with wired headphones.
* Doesn't respond to standard media commands (e.g. play/pause remote button) -- I've tried several headphones to confirm that. Sounds like something fixable through software.
* Slow storage (understandable for this price range, and only annoying when copying content over.
* The player can easily pop out of the watch band -- I wouldn't recommend using that.
* Files aren't sorted by name in "folders" -- which can be annoying for audiobooks. The only solution is to use "all music" function, where files are sorted (but it's all the files on storage).

Pros:
Fairly cheap
Battery life is great I listened to an mp3 audio book for 9 hours and it went down about 20%

Cons:
Playing MP3s: did an ok job but if you had a long mp3 and wanted to get in the middle of it it would take FOREVER on FWD.
No clip
No Step counter

There is a FAT32 file system issue that puts the files on the drive in a random order....so if you have an audio book: chap1 / chap2 / chap3 etc....and you want them to play in order.....good luck. The only way I got them to play in order is to copy then one at a time to the device. What a pain but from my searching it is a file system thing and you can get a piece of software that will sort it out for you altho I did not have any luck getting that software to work.

Was unsure about the size of this player as I'm use to an Apple iPod full size but this little player really rocks! I was able to move all my music from my old iPod onto my laptop then onto the new player. The instructions were kind of "meh" but I downloaded an app to move everything over quite easily. The ear buds are somewhat uncomfortable to what im use to using so I'll save those as back up ones. The sound is perfect and it really pumps out the tunes when turned up super loud (had to check it out on all volume settings lol).
I've ordered 3 other players and ended up returning them but this one is a keeper!! I just have to get use to the tiny size. It fits snuggly into the wrist band and the clip goes on tight. I don't think I'll have any issues with those.
Onto downloading more music!! Thank you!!
