I was very suprised at how good this little MP3 player sounds, was even hearing instruments and gentle time keeping snare on tracks that I'd never noticed that detail ever before.very impressed, battery life is very good too. Bought a nice little case for it too. Very easy to populate with music too, just open a window where your music is stored and a window showing the contents of the Super Eye, then drag and drop your music and away you go. Wasnt expecting too much from this little MP 3 player, but it gives great sound quality at a very affordable price.

I'm not normally given to writing reviews, but I feel compelled to put finger to keyboard after recieving the Supereye Mp3 player. I must admit that I didn't expect much for £26 but I gave it a punt given that my present model, a Phillips that had given me excellent service, has decided it no longer wants to communicate with my PC. Upon opening it after arrival I was immediately impressed by the packaging, equal to that of a new phone - 1st box ticked! Then when I got hands on I expected a flimsy plastic body, but no - a proper metal case, 2nd box ticked! Then I thought well I bet it'll be a nightmare to transfer files from the PC (something I'd experienced with another make) no such thing, conneted it to the PC, it appeared in the explorer menu immediately and 20 mins later I had dragged and dropped 8 Gig worth of music files and I've still got 8 Gig spare. 3rd box ticked! Now for the sound quality. I haven't tried the supplied earphones as I have a pair of SkullCandy ear buds that I wouldn't be without and with them the sound is superb, 4th box ticked! I didn't really want anything more just an easy to use robust player with good sound and easy file transfer and I've got all of that PLUS it shows the cover of the music CD on the screen and full track info, bonus. DON'T FAFF AROUND SEARCHING FOR A.N. OTHER PRODUCT, BUY ONE OF THESE!!

This is a seriously nice piece of kit, its got a metallic body, a glass screen, great menus and controls. It just feels like quality like you paid a hundred quid and here it is for less than thirty. And the SOUND QUALITY is simply ASTOUNDING - it is quite easily the LOUDEST MP3 player I have ever owned. And by far the best - snap it up while you can. I have had Sandisk and Sony products recently and to be quite frank both sucked big time and this little Chinese import blows the big names right out of the water.

Its time for the Big Brands to stop selling cheap tacky plastic garbage and realise they have some serious competition,

I have only had this mp3 player about 3 days but already quite impressed.

The sound quality is very good - it drives my over-the-ear Sennheiser head phones with more than enough volume for me ( max volume is comfortable not painful! ). The in-ear head phones sound ok but obviously not as good as the over- ear type. The menu system is easy to work out without looking at the instructions.

The quality of the unit feels good and slips into the pocket and weighs very little 55 grams approx. ( L x W x D) 92mm x 40mm x 8mm approx.

Simple press of a button on the side locks keypad and blanks screen. The volume can still be adjusted even with the keypad locked using the two buttons on the side - useful feature I have found.
Plays through (is seen by) my fitted as standard car stereo 2012 Peugeot 107 via the USB lead provided - receives charge at the same time.
Initialises quite quick from off to on in about 3 seconds

The battery life appears ok too - had it playing through some active speakers for about 3 hours the charge indicator stayed on full charge. - but unable to give a real indication of battery life. Touch screen responds well. Sound recorder (voice) was quite acceptable quality.
Not tried other functions.

Unable to get the Bluetooth to connect to my Nokia phone or Lenovo laptop. (not tried the car bluetooth)

The mp3 player appears to default to playing the tracks in random mode - you need to go into Application ->Set->Playmode->Shuffle - then select off.

Terribly bad build quality

Terrible build quality, awful touchscreen and bad internal software spoils what could have been a rpomising product. I was attracted to buy this by it's advertised long battery life and large internal memeory capacity, I never got to test either. I put a first few songs and audiobooks onto it and tried to play them. Well this device doesn't properly recognise the albums, and for those which it can recognise it plays everything out of order. That might not sound bad for songs but when the mp3 files are chapters of an audiobook and the ID3 tags on them are used to tell any normal mp3 player which order to play the chapters in then this becoems disasterous. How do you fancy hearing the exciting climax of chapter 13, then skipping to chapters 1 and 2, but no you don't get chapter 4 now, no it'll give chapter 7 instead, the chapter 6, then 5... All sense of a consistent narrative in the book is obliterated by what must be some of the worst mp3 player firmware ever written. So that soudns bad? but it gets worse, thsoe fancy and profesional looking tocuh buttons are terrible, brushes from clothing, even taps on the other side of the device will set them off, and the firmware of this device is such that while you are using the keys to scroll through menus it goes and recognises them as instructions for how to play the track, wanted to scroll down a menu of other tracks while one plays...oops it decies to skip to the next track. In a track and trying to fast forward part way through it, but not to the next track, well after you've held your finger on the touch button long enough to reach the right point it registers a false click as you lift your finger off and it skips to the next track after you've spent several minutes fast forwarding to the right point in this one. The manufacturers have been shoddy in other ways too, when you connect this to a PC to copy files onto the device it often drops the connection whenever a second USb device of any kind is connected or removed from another port on the host PC, so if you've got files scattered over several USb sticks and you hope to copy them all to this mp3 player, it looses connection to the pc each time you plug or unplug one of these USb sticks from the PC's usb (other) ports. And one other fun thing, the volume on this can, through normal headphones, i never tried the supplied ones at all as I don't like in-ear buds, get extremely painfully loud indeed, and while there is a volume limiter that can be set if you hunt for it you'll find that even for mp3 files gained to less than the normal mp3 volume they become very painful if you manage to accidentally knock the volume control side switches, only marginally more reliable than the touch buttons, while it rests in your pocket. The volume also goes up in pretty shapr steps, several are too quiet, then it gets too loud, and there aren't many gradations inbetween, despite having about 31 possible volume levels most of these are way to loud for use so you end up with a scale of about 6 levels you can comfortably play with. Am returning this item and am awaiting refund.
