I truly wish the guys luck in future ventures but this one is just not for me.
However I am left disappointed nothing has really grabbed me to make. Lots is a variation on a theme e.g there are five recipes based on chilli/Mexican spices, most of the pasta dishes are just pasta with bolognese sauces and a couple are Satay in different formats. Lots contain tofu which I am not a huge fan of (personal choice) and there are lots with maple syrup in and while not a refined sugar is still sugar and although I know I can omit this I feel it is a bit of a surprise to find it in a "healthy" book.
I was expecting something a little less processed e.g. lentils, beans and chickpeas something like "Oh She Glows" by Angela Liddon.
I will probably end up selling this as there is a mark made by me on one of the pages (it was in the kitchen). Hoped for a bit more considering the rave reviews of the previous book.
I had the Middle-Eastern spiced chickpea salad yesterday, it was yummy.
I love the other Bosh books but as I look to improve my diet I think this is going to be my favourite.
