Really clean simple interface, very easy to use and well documented. Unfortunately I had to contact support as I had a device WiFi that this would not connect to. Support were brilliant and answered my query very quickly and in a friendly way.
Turns out that the device only supports channels 36/40/44/48/52/56/60/64/100/104/108/112/116/120/124/128. Anything over (my device was ch.149) is not supported. Be wary of this when purchasing.
Setup was simple and easy, it only took minutes to get connected to my wifi connection.
However what's not stated anywhere is that the ethernet port on the device is only a 10/100mb connection and not gigabit. I have a 300mb internet connection so this was bottlenecked by the ethernet port, making the whole reason for the purchase pointless. If this isn't a problem for your setup then I would recommend, otherwise look elsewhere.
The wifi extender itself is fine, but I was needing a device that could wirelessly connect my hard-wired NAS to the network at gigabit speeds. The extender operates at close to gigabit speeds, but the ethernet port is capped at 100meg which is not what I wanted. This won't be a dealbreaker for most, but I wish this was made clear in the product description for those who require the bandwidth.
I did not want to use this in either AP or Repeater mode but as a Bridge. I only wanted to connect to my existing WiFi as a client and then bridge the connection to the ethernet point. Yet there is no way to disable this as a repeater.
