A genius composerReviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2018
Morricone's finest hour! A truly gifted composer whose soundtracks are second to none in terms of totally capturing the mood of the film that the music is enhancing. This is none so evident with Morricone's scores written for the spaghetti western genre. You find some of Morricone's finest work here, which stands up both as film scores and as musical compositions in their own right. A wonderful collection of his music which stands the test of time.

Disappointing OverallReviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2019
I found ths collections disappointing overall. I have 3 issues with this product. First, when I saw all the Morricone Spaghetti Western themes would be on one CD collection at a fairly cheap price I thought this was a no brainer. I was particularly after the main title themes from The Grand Silence, Face to Face, and The Big Gundown which are listed as on the discs. The tracks from Face to Face, The Big Gundown and Death Rides A Horse are not the main title themes but actually incidental tracks. The Grand Silence is the title theme. Second, the sound is muffled on some of the tracks - its not my player as other CDs play fine and are clear. Thirdly - I think some of them may be covers. A Fistful of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More main titles themes do not sound like they do on the original soundtrack album which I had bought previously or on the DVDs, they seem to be playing slower, but this may be because the sound is muffled.

Wish I'd read the reviews...Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2019
Avoid! This is not the 'Original Score' as stated, but a rubbish knock off with a lot of bad synth parts rather than an actual orchestra. Even if that doesn't bother you, loads of bits of the soundtracks are missing. This is a total waste of time and Amazon charged me £2 to return a poorly described item!
