The mouse looks great, seems best suited to small hands and is very precise. Unfortunately, the bottom back end of this mouse is quite narrow and as such it frequently rocks from side to side as you adjust the position of your hand or simply rest your hand on the mouse. Just enough movement to defeat all that precision the sensor offers. The two other mice I have both sit flat and flush at all times. I also noted that some of the retaining screws for the weights, even when tightened, do not sit flush with the bottom skid plate. This might be part of the issue, but also highlights rather poor QA at this price point.
I purchased this mouse a couple months ago and it was going well until a few days ago the left click has stopped working. Working on a RMA right now but it is very annoying. I do not recommend this product for anyone.
I had one of these before I bought this new one, and for some reason the mouse buttons have to be slammed/clicked extremely hard to get them to engage properly. No settings changes make a difference, it's like it cannot detect that you've pushed the button unless you push extremely hard.
Even when you push it, it gives the "click" noise which sound like it happened but then of course nothing happens, which means you are frequently clicking multiple times to get it to select something.
UPDATE: I received a replacement, and it too has the same problem. The left mouse button does not respond after very short usage. I had the replacement LESS THAN 1 MONTH!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE.
I would not recommend this. This is the same left clicking issue many other people are having.
The mouse was always small, but I figured I'd give it a chance. While I did get used to it after a month, I'd would never say it was comfortable. However, the mouse started false-clicking about 3 months after purchase. Confirmed it in games as well as just normal browsing; the left mouse button has even failed just bringing up this review.
Going back to my G502 that I bought in 2016 that (apparently) still works better than this thing.
EDIT: Now I see all the negative reviews, complaining about the same thing (left-click failing. That'll teach me not to read reviews more carefully.
Comfort, mediocre. The sniper button should've been right in between Forward and Backward button, not below forward. Quality-price ratio, I won't comment on this as my first review attempt got blocked because I was complaining about receiving an used mice instead of a new one but quality is OK, price is not. Ergonomic, corsair provides a good software tool to configure mice, with keyboards bindings, macros, on the fly DPI adjustments, mice light colours and many many other features.
Bought this mouse refurbished about a year ago, since day one the mouse has been so messed up. When I hold right click on the mouse it will spam the button, in FPS games my mouse will just go in and out of aiming at random times due to this problem. The mouse was clearly broken and messed up but I always thought It was a software problem until I looked under the right click portion of the mouse and saw it was very wonky looking. DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED, I doubt I am able to get a replacement or refund considering it has been a year. Its not worth the risk to buy a refurbished item because now I basically wasted 75 dollars.
I had a mouse from this an many other people that have run into this same issues where the mouse right and left click buttons are poorly made and designed to break the more the mouse is sued, the part is supper cheap to buy latterly cents and could be fixed if you know how to sadder the part to replace it, but the problem with all mice is they use these cheap buttons which do ware out fast, I got the mouse this year and I had this same model prior to the button wearing out however the first time lasted me over two years of use this lasted me months. I highly suggest you skip all the "gaming mice" and settle for a amazon basic mouse for way cheaper, your going to run into the same problem regardless where you buy your mouse from, I have been through dozens of mice from many brands and its just the flawed part, regardless if the compony does it deliberately or not its cheaper in the long run to buy a cheap mouse then have to for out high amounts of money for something that and a unpredictable life span. Anyhow I don't recommend this mouse at all or any gaming mice for that matter don't waste your money.
