1. For MacOS: top left corner Apple icon-->System Preferences-->Displays-->Mirror or Extend Displays;

2. For Windows 10, press Windows key + P combination command-->choose Duplicate or Extend;

3. For Windows system laptop, if the external monitor could not work, please update the BIOS and graphic card driver from laptop official website.

The display port cable is really long and really high quality. I connected my 144 hertz monitor to add to my GTX 1080 ti and I really like the experience as it was not being held by some poor cable instead it was really being supported by this nice cable which did not let my expectations down.

The product came damaged and did not work at all, when plugged between the monitor and computer. I did not request for a return, as it was a hassle to go through- all for a cable that costed less than $15. I hope there will be improved and thorough quality checks for defective products before shipping them out to other customers. Although shipping was quick, it doesn’t matter if I can’t use the cable, anyway.
