Lovely ! Really what I expected to be having read the background before hand . I could not put it down ! I wanted to carry on and on to the end !
One of the nicest story that I have read for a long , long time !

Thoroughly good readReviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 November 2020
Love all things France and this was an easy, enjoyable and interesting read from the 2nd world war years to beyond. It's no epic but you want to get to the end to find out the various twists and turns - have passed on to another friend to read and she says she's enjoying it too.
Well written, interesting characters and a great story.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 November 2020
I think it is a well written book with a number of interesting characters, all well described. While there were a number of surprises as the story developed they were credible.
Nice story but badly proof read bookReviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 February 2021
Lovely story, well told. Proof reading terrible - multiple errors including a repeated sentence and words in the wrong order - really affected the flow so very disappointing and not a cheap book.

Really enjoyed this book, I'm quite interested in WW2 history and enjoy most things French so it was a great combination.
