Purchased to help with exam revision. The book outlines characters and themes of the Odyssey which helps to structure revision and create flash cards.
It's really worth it as an aide but no substitution for actually reading the Odyssey.

The Odyssey analysedReviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 April 2013
Further information on this great epic. Good chapter headings under which various subjects are presented. Would have liked more information on different translation; Pope's, ETC.

I bought this to accompany ”The Odyssey” for my son. He is reading this for his gifted English class and this really helps him to interpret the saga.
