I purchased these and several other sets of hooks for my mother as her hands had been getting sore when crocheting, these were hands down the best hooks for her with her noticing she can crochet longer with less discomfort. I'd highly recommend these for anyone who crochets with a pen grip as they certainly seem to be worth the money when compared with other both cheaper and more expensive hooks (such as clovers own soft touch hooks which she found to be poor in comparison).

Prior to these I had purchased cheaper hooks however would never go back. Clover hooks allow the yarn to 'glide' over the hook which means it's a faster process (and less snags).

I was hesitant at first to spend $60+ on a partial set of crochet hooks (especially since you can get full sets for a lot cheaper), but after reading reviews I decided to go for it and got these.

I'd just like to say: the hype is real. There is a reason why these are so well reviewed. First, you can just tell immediately that they're extremely well made. The metal of the hook is so smooth against the yarn when crocheting, and the handle is soft and comfortable. I daresay I am a better crocheter when I use these hooks. Believe the reviews. These hooks are a delight to use and I will never need to try any other hook again.
