Holy moly! I feel like Tate James just ripped out my heart and stabbed me in the back! Such a brutal cliff-hanger ending. This book left me with the mother of all book hangovers that took me several days to get over. I even needed to join her WTF group just to commiserate with fellow fans.

The Hades series continues to build the excitement, intrigue, and scorching hot romance with this third instalment. I really can’t wait for the next one.

I highly recommend this series for all fans of dark romance as well as anyone who enjoys reading fast paced action novels.

I'm loving this series. Each book just gets better and better.

Lucas has definitely been my favourite of Hades' guys since book 1 and he's still there. I'm still enjoying the fact that the guys are so different. In most RH books the guys are all the same age, are best friends or brothers, so it's kind of like re-reading variations of the same books, so I'm enjoying the mix of younger guy, older guy etc.

And ... that cliffhanger. So clearly there has to be a HEA at the end of the next book, but I'm truly curious to see how these revelations are explained.

Oh and Hades needs to read more, or watch more drama shows because she clearly hasn't learnt that keeping secrets just makes things worse.

Reading this instalment of the 'Hades' series you think you have it all sorted then BAM the rug is ripped out from under you aswell as your heart is pulled out of your chest while it's still beating. I could not put this book down and yes I was found rocking back and forth in the corner (joking) with the ending asking the age old question WHY WHY WHY is Tate James so evil. Do yourself a favour, clear your day, no interruptions and read this book. Absolutely binge worthy.

Just when you think Tate can't get bolder or more brazen with her characters, she scoffs, expertly flips her hair and smugly smiles innocently and knowingly straight through your soul. Each time she leaves me like this I think she can't get worse, but she's gone and out did herself.
In saying all that, this a Roller-coaster you want to ride.. repeatedly.. pun absolutely intended!
There js so much development, both plot and character. So much steam and sweat and moans and steam. Plus all the things we know and love from this series, angst, alphaholes, drama, suspense, Sass and did I mention steam?!
Picks up and resolves straight after the last cliff dive. And then nothing is predictable. Chase, one Chasey boy is one cunning adversary and I'm loving his unpredictability.
I love a Tate 12 week turn around with a pre warning of Timber's darkness and girth already!

The storyline is fantastic, the way it flows with the suspense and twists.

Tate James has done it again. What an ending. I honestly didn’t see that coming.

Hades & her men in Club 22 are pure perfection. I love how different she is with each of them but still herself & similar in so many ways. Each of her guys helps bring out a different part of her & I love how Tate is writing their dynamic!
That scene in Club 22 with the 4 of them, towards the end was, wow, so good!

Lucas is such an amazing person. I loved seeing the relationship with him, Cas & Zed grow. Their banter is the best. The fact they call out so many times how much more mature Lucas is to the other 2 is great!

Sephy really disappointed me in this book, but in the best way. She really is a spoilt, childish, brat! I hope we get to see more of her in Timber & then maybe even a spin off about her where we can actually read what happened when Zed told her everything!
I love a good redemption story.

Chase is actually a pyscho. I’m so excited to see what else Tate has him doing. He’s such a twisted, evil person & I love all the scenes with him!

I applaud those that have waited months for Timber after reading Club 22. A few days wait is agonising enough! I’ll be so sad to end the story of Hades & her men, but I’m so excited to see what twist and turns Tate has in store!!

How can a 26 year old Chase be the Director of the FBI & 26 year Zed by a FBI Agent undercover for 5 years? when did they study and work etc etc to get to these positions??? i liked the story but it lacks substance and at the end these two big points did not make sense, the director of the FBI cant go around murdering people and neither can agents?? i understand this is fiction but COME ON!!!!! THE 2 stars are for the story - which was weak compared to the last 2 books. i mean Hades seems to be missing her backbone?????? running around doing much of nothing all through the book. lacks substance and i really hope this story is cleared up in the next book - THERE CANNOT BE A 26 YEAR OLD DIRECTOR OF THE FBI!!!!!.

I just.. I mean.. Uh. I cannot articulate a proper response to this book. It is everything. It’s amazing, it’s all going on, I love the people who shall not be named (because, you know, spoilers), also dislike those other people (also spoilers). Ooh the spice, the love, the trials and tribulations. This book is the best and worst in every single possible way.

And so now we wait.

I’m obviously recommending this book to absolutely everyone. Tate is an (evil) genius and I gotta say, Hades has taken top spot for me, she’s bumped MK down 🤭

Tate James ensnares your mind and senses, leaving reeling and addicted.
After taking steps to ensure Hades' rules are followed, she puts a plan in motion for revenge against her nemesis. Hades is a strong, stubborn badass of a female character. She is very likeable and fun to read. Her growth makes for a compelling story. Her love interests are Lucas, the well-endowed hot throb, that's her lighthouse in the storm. Cass, a grumpy cat, is older and dominates her where it counts and Zed the best friend, the one she loved the longest and finally allows in.
The intensity and anticipation of this book leave you screaming WTF in the end.
I have come to realise that all Tate James books are like that.
It's exhilarating.
The twist and betrayals are just so compelling. The steam is delicious and a lot spicer than in the previous books. Book 3 is unputdownable, unpredictable and a cliffhanger.
A wonderful dark contemporary romance read that hits all the right buttons 'wink'
