Notwithstanding the fact that my hair is short I had to apply a significant amount of the conditioner to make sure the whole head is covered.
The bottle looks simple, made from white plastic, that can be recycled or repurposed.
I have an impression that designers went the extra mile while creating the brand.
The graphics and the content of the label show upscale professionalism and wild imagination.
R+Co is a first-of-its-kind salon brand created by a collective of iconic hairdressers. Howard McLaren, Thom Priano and Garren.
R+Co’s product lineup is paraben-free, sulfate (SLS or SLES)-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, cruelty-free and color safe.
R+Co supports its products with an iOS app that promises to the customers to achieve salon hair at home.

My hair is the old grey stuff that I recently tried to get some zing back into it and reclaim some youth so I went with something that’s as close as possible to the original blonde colour it used to be. Where the grey is growing out as well as the coloured hairs, it just dried out so it’s not limited to anything that the colouring chemicals might have done.
When testing conditioners I use the same shampoo to make sure I have a base to compare with. This allows me to ensure that the conditioner is the problem.
My wife also found that her hair ended up getting frizzy, she’s not impressed as it took her three days to get her hair back to normal. She has fine dark coloured hair (some exotic name) and does have issues with her hair becoming poofy. Seems that the conditioner really dried out the hair or left something on it that rejected any moisturising that was applied to it afterwards.
It works in easily enough and seems to rinse out fine but the end result in this household is that our hair was dried out.
Scent wise, the potency is less than other R+Co products but it’s still very much a chemical odour.

This conditioner is a very good conditioner, in my opinion. It has a very weak but pleasant floral scent. It is rather liquidity in consistency as compared to the other conditioners in the lineup and as a result, it penetrates thick hair nicely. It rinses easily and thoroughly, leaving behind no residual greasy feeling. What it does leave behind is soft, shiny and manageable hair with moderate frizz control. The effects of which, lasted for a few days.
My wife and I are not convinced that it does anything to enhance the color in anyway but we can not make the claim either, that it does not in some way, protect her color that she already has.

It made my hair really fresh and clean. Smelled pretty good. Very feminine. And left my hair soft and smooth.
It didn't cause any issues with my colored hair, so it seemingly lives up to its name so far.
My biggest issue: the price. There's a number of shampoos that I prefer from salons that cost much less, for a lot more.
