Great home microphone system. I’m running it through my 800w stage amp so I have to set up carefully to avoid feedback but other than that the audio is crisp and clear. The two included mics are cheaper thin feeling plastic so I wouldn’t recommend them for young kids or rowdy party goers. Battery life is a few hours on the mics which is ok since they are easily changeable AAA batteries. 2 wire setup in less than 5 minutes. Decent product for a decent price. Nothing over the top, but does what it’s supposed to do. Good for at home use.
We're using it for PC-based Karaoke. Seems fairly solid and easy to use. Only complaint is that there is a noticeable thump in the sound system when turning it on, and when pressing the off button on the microphone the button click is heard through the sound system, so adjusting gain on the mixer before and after turning on or off is advisable. Diameter is a bit larger than some microphones, so would not fit into some microphone stands. Body is plastic, but wind screen is a heavy metal mesh, which seems quite protective. Excellent value for the money.
The only reason I gave only 3 stars is that in order to use an XLR cable I have to use both XLR plug-ins which I prefer. I use a 4 channel Fender Passport 250 Plus portable PA & using 2 of the 4 channels poses a problem sometimes when I use it for a duo.
For home karaoke or giving to drinking karaoke singers, these mics are spot on. I would not recommend for stage or any situation in which you want a quality sound. They tend to break up at high sound pressure levels. For the price you can't beat them for casual use.
