These connectors come as 3-way chips with clips which go over them which you must install. I found several difficulties. One, some of the clamps were missing teeth. Two, frequently the clamping teeth were too tight to fit the chips without prying them up first. Same when connecting to the power strips, even after removing the adhesive portion. Three, after it was all assembled, one direction (of three) did not work on two of the chips. Four, after everything is finished, the connections are very easy to jostle or separate. I get a lot of flickering.
It is very time consuming and unreliable. Good old fashioned solder is your best choice, even if you have to learn.
The L shaped strips included in the product do not slide in effortlessly in some of the connectors and you are forced to bend the pins which break VERY EASILY. I had so much trouble bending the pins in the right angle to get all 3 colors working.
This worked perfectly for setting lights up on my tv. The only thing to make sure is that you put the lights in the right way or they won’t work. I found out the lights have to go in a specific direction. So when I first put them together only one section of lights worked. But I took the lights out and flips them around and it seemed to fix the problem. If it doesn’t work the first time it’s probably not the clips messing up. It is the direction you have your light strips
Haven’t used these yet will add to review once I’m able to install my led lights. They came in a package great quantity for price. Didn’t come with instructions I’m unsure how to use if you have to cut the led light or not. Instructions would have been helpful. Overall product seems great.
Corner connectors are very flimsy and the connectors don't seem to make great contact. Spent hours trying to make them work correctly. Will be looking for another alternative to corners. Save your money, time, and loads of frustration. Ruiend a few short light strips trying to get a solid connection.
Wasted my time putting this together for a set up at the back of my TV. Once done, I tested the connection before actually sticking the lights behind the TV. Unfortunately, the power didn't go past the first connector. The best it could do was get the next set of lights after the connector to flicker (only if you hold it a certain way), but it wouldn't stay on by itself, and it never matched the light color of the main stip of lights. Now I not only have a set of non-functioning connectors, I pretty much butchered a perfectly functioning set of LED lighting. NOT RECOMMENDED - look elsewhere.
They work, but are slightly oversized - it takes up a lot of space apparently unnecessarily - why three pieces and not one (two straight connectors and the L shaped card that goes between them)? I'm happy with this at the end of the day, but I believe they could have been designed better.
The sheet connector for the corner and the T shape , i cant use because the rgb position is not in the same as my led strip, so its pretty useless all i can use is the connector for linking straight , pretty dissapointed
Some of them worked. The clips hold onto the LED strips and crimp in fine, the L strips however also out and lose connection if moved at all. I crimped and tested them but after mounting only 2 worked of the 10 leaving the strip mostly dead going to have to pull it all off and solder now anyway. 2/10. Would not buy again.
