Product description
The MWE White offers a simple, reliable way to power your system safely and efficiently at a low cost. The 80 PLUS 550W white efficiency rating, DC-to-DC + LLC circuit design, single +12V rail, active PFC and temperature-sensitive HDB fan offer a power supply unit that stays true to its original purpose. This PSU will handle all your core computing needs with none of the hassles or challenges of additional special features, software synchronization or other bells and whistles. Just plug it into your system and get to work. For a great core computing experience, you can't go wrong with the MWE White. The constant struggle between cooling and noise is as old as the consumer PC industry itself. Keeping your components cool without having to hear about it while your work is still one of the greatest challenges for all fan based cooling technologies. The MWE White's solution to this problem is a thermally sensitive 120mm HDB fan. It spins based on the system's temperature, constantly adjusting to keep your PSU running smoothly and safely with the minimum amount of noise required. Power comes in multiple voltage levels. The wall delivers power in one voltage level but your components each need a specific voltage to operate properly. The process of converting raw power from the wall to the multiple voltage levels your components need requires special components to complete this process quickly, efficiently and safely. The MWE White's DC-to-DC + LLC technology was painstakingly crafted to accomplish this goal. The Dual Forward circuit layout has been designed to convert 12V power to 3V and 5V levels with minimal ripple noise, 80 PLUS efficiency and reduced risk to your connected components. For many PC Builders with aesthetics in mind, cabling can be on of the most troublesome parts of assembling a PC. Cables can be confusing, too short or too long and they almost never look good. The MWE White uses flat and flexible black cables to help deal with these problems.

I have tried this PSU on 3 different computers, all with the same result.
The high pitch sound can be heard from around 5m away, in an environment with low background noise.
This noise starts as soon as you start up the computer and stays until you shut it down again.
If you plan on having your computer case on your table or in the open, then I would suggest a different power supply. However if your case is under your table, and you use headphones, then you shouldn't hear it.
I performed some rudimentary testing, and believe the issue is related to the 12V 8 pin EPS for powering the CPU. When running a CPU intensive load (Prime95) the high pitch sound frequency increases.
However, when loading the graphics card (Unigine Heaven Benchmark), the high pitch sound appears to reduce and sometimes cuts out completely (intermittent). Must be something in the internal electrical which is countering the vibration depending on what parts are loaded...
Other than this high pitch coil whine issue, the power supply is actually quite good.
I like the flat cables, which makes cable routing quite easy.
The lengths of the cables are good, and the spacing (distance) between multiple connectors on a single cable (for powering SSD/HDD) is better than most other power supplies.
The number of connectors and general build quality is also quite good.
If there was no coil whine, then I would have given this power supply 5 stars, but alas it is not to be.
I picked this up as the price was cheap in comparison to other power supplies of this specification (A$79).
In future I would probably just stick with Corsair power supplies, as they have never let me down previously. They do cost a bit extra, but I feel you are not playing the lottery, and you get what you pay for.

Buy this PSU without doing any extra research
This is the one of the best PSU right now in this segment and it comes with a fused cable and all cable are sleeved and it is even better than corsair's vs550 ,I got it at ₹3200k with less prize than local market and it is a fresh new product and it also has 2× 6+2 pci-e cables and 4+4 CPU cable, buy this over vs series

i got this product in 3600 Rs.
i m using this last 9 months
with this product i used
3HDD, 1SSD, GPU = GTX 1060 6GB , 5 120mm RGB cooling fan, CPU air cooler hyperx 212 working perfectly

Looks cool in my build thanks Amazon for the timely delivery

Edit: I got the new piece by September end after 2.5 months of waiting. It works fine now.
Delivered earlier than the delivery date and came with proper packaging.
Installed it inside the cabinet today and works like a charm with a WiFi mobo and 16 GB DDR4 ram and AMD Apu processor. So this is a sufficient power suply for this configuration. If you have graphics card, then you might want to go for 1000VA smps.

Pros:
1. Good package and as shown in product description.
2. SMPS can be fitted on top of cabinet with its intake fan pointed at CPU. This in my cabinet as the cabinet is 10yr old. Nowadays you get cabinet with bottom mount.
3. Flat cable is a nice touch as I can run it under the motherboard for a clutter free Setup.
4. I have AMD phenom ii X6 processor with max TDP of 125watt and the motherboard has 4 phase power supply to cpu. This SMPS is quite stable with the Setup.
5. I have seen that this SMPS can handle rtx series card with max power draw upto 250watt. Keep in mind to use lower TDP cpu while using high end gpu.
Cons:
1. The main concern I have is that this SMPS is non-modular.
