M55 RGB Pro packs the PMW3327 which is a great optical sensor.
The Corsair M55 RGB Pro is undoubtedly a great ambidextrous mouse that is affordable and performs great at the same time
I use a fingertip grip as I have a larger than average palm however I dont consider the mouse as small as I have used much smaller mices and I always liked symmetrical shaped mices as that is what I started gaming on though I have tried many asymmetrical ones but I never felt they were right for me.
The braided cable is also of good quality and doesnt have any loose fabric ends though it does retain shape aggressively as you can expect from these cables. I recommend to tie and store them in the shape (if required) as they are in the packaging.
Regarding the Corsair iCUE software, I dont have anything specific to mention as it performs everything you can expect - changing RGB lighting, DPI and button assignment etc. The software doesn't bug you with notifications or too many updates unless you open it yourself.
Overall I'm happy by this product from Corsair as in contrast I had read mostly negative sentiments regarding their gaming mices.
look no further
been using this mouse 11 months now
about to finish a year
its better than logitech mouse which I own
bought it as a backup mouse ended making it main.
logitech has messed up with those omron switches all my logitech mouse are double clicking :(
corsair saved me, very affordable price and braided cable and nylon strap for cable management
no need to buy mouse cable holder :).
best mouse for budget gamers right now
-Medium sized mouse.
-A really good sensor (images show PAW3391 but it's PMW3327).
-Good build quality with the right amount of force for the clicks.
-Really responsive side buttons and not to clammy.
-Nice rubber grips on sides to get a good hold on the mouse.
-The scroll wheel is also of good quality.
-The RGB is subtle and not too flashy.
-The sensor has a higher liftoff distance which may seem a deal breaker but after some usage you will get used to it and love it.
-The braided cable is a bit stiff upon the initial usage but as I mentioned before after some time it's good.
I've been using this mouse for a week or so and I'm loving it because mainly I just play CSGO and Valorant and it's safe to say that this mouse is really amazing.
P.S. Pair it with a Redgear Large Speed type mousepad and it's amazing. Plus I love the white variant more than the black one as it's more appealing.
