I love this recipe book however I was disappointed at the condition at which my book arrived. My hard copy cover was already detached/ ripped from the spine of the book when I first opened it. I don't think the book which arrived was brand new - it has other wear and tear indicators on it. I ordered other cookbooks at the same time and they arrived perfect. Not sure what happened here but was extremely disappointed.

Bought this soon after receiving her first book. I haven't used a cook book anywhere near as much as this one. I love her recipes! They are super easy and straightforward to make and I haven't had a bad one yet. I really love her family style, soul food cooking, not to mention amazing humour. Regardless of what you think of this social media goddess, if you love amazing home cooking, this book is amazing!
4.0 out of 5 starsA book of tasty treats. Not for dieters

Some very tasty recipes but packed with fat and carbs and all the other yummy bad stuff. This book is really for the occasional treat and not everyday cooking. Some recipes seemed to be just filler - cheese toasties for example, surely everyone knows how to make these. But on the whole good for a bit of indulgence and Chrissy's commentary is also giggle.
3.0 out of 5 starsFine, but poorly adapted to UK customers

In general, I like this cookbook. The recipes look and taste good and there is enough of them.
My problem is that the book was written for the American reader and it really shows.
There has been an attempt to edit it for the UK market, but that stretches to - order online, which is not really cheap or convenient for a lot of readers.
If you love Chrissy Tiegen, give the book a shot, if you are judging the book as a cookbook alone, you may find better options

I'm not a great cook but I follow Chrissie on Twitter and love her everything, so I thought I'd give this a go. The book is beautiful, and that's before you get to the pics of her, John and Luna. The writing is charming and witty and I the food looks amazing, with plenty of recipes that are great for beginners like me. I am utterly delighted with it. If you fancy a cookbook that makes you feel good about wanting to eat all the lovely food, this is the one <3
I’m a massive Chrissy Teagan fan...I mean who isn’t? I got her first cookbook as a gift and enjoyed it so much I bought this second one. It did not disappoint. My family enjoys the recipes and I enjoy making them.
