These really are washable! I have had to clean floors, walls, clothing, and items that weren't meant for coloring! I actually have a wall in my youngest son's room for his coloring ventures. I figured he needed a place to express himself and nothing is more fun than coloring on walls! I didn't think the wall would be a permanent fixture so washable crayons seemed the perfect choice. I used a magic eraser pad and the color easily came off. He likes to do master-pieces and if he messes up, he can easily start again. Great product and vibrant colors!
Has your child ever drawn on walls, furniture, books, their clothing, or any other surface you would prefer to remain "art free"? If so you must replace all your old wax crayons with these washable ones! Yes they cost a few dollars more, and yes they are more brittle and will break more often then the old ones... but you will save yourself hours of frustration, washing, and scrubbing, not to mention the money you save by not needing to repaint. All you will need is a warm wet cloth and the washable crayon "masterpieces" will wipe off your walls effortlessly.
I don't remember how many times I had to draw in the bath for my kid! So,at first I was afraid but they clean really well. I use a sponge and its gone.
The texture is similar to a lipstick and you may not want to leave them around the water for long. They come encased on plastic and if a bit of water gets in it can leak a bit of color later, nothing major.
This is a very nice set of crayons for young colorists who may be inspired to take the coloring to another level -- like the floor or walls! There is a nice assortment and the colors do clean up with careful attention. The earlier you get to it the better, but they do clean up! Hopefully, you'll never need to test that out. :)
Seems to do the job. My 18 month old niece ripped the box open, threw them around and used them right away. She even sat on some and they didn’t break. Seem sturdy and good enough but not sure if I would allow her to use them on the walls.
