I'm almost 77 and we go to Majorca frequently and enjoy swimming in the sea. My husband always gets well ahead of me and keeps waiting for me, BUT with my super new fins I am able to swim much better and don't get left behind the same. They are not heavy and don't tire the ankles as they are not too long. I love them.
I carried these in my 40L osprey backpack for 2 months whilst travelling, they're small enough to carry without taking up space and they're sturdy, great for swimming. Just because the fin is small doesn't mean you won't swim fast. These things are great! I wont leave home without them for future trips. Great investment
A few things to say 1) They look sort of nice. "Dinky" is probably the word. 2) They are really, really short compared to other swimming fins. You are probably better off with something more standard if your child is using them for swim training - the coaches won't know what to make of them. 3) The EU33/34 size is nowhere near that big. Our size EU32 daughter couldn't get her (slim) foot in at all. 4) Amazon do not class these as Clothing or Footwear. Therefore they don't qualify for free returns. You will be charged £3.99 to return them when you find the sizes don't run true. Overall not one of my better Amazon experiences.
I ordered these for my travels through Asia, I wanted to be autonomous and go snorkelling where and when I wanted without depending on having to rent these from somewhere. So size and weight were important, and I say that they were short enough and light enough but still great for swimming and snorkelling. Will travel with these again.
Good quality item. Best to buy a size larger than your normal shoe size. Advice from our swimming instructor. It does not come off, bought 5.5 though my son is a 4. Stands up to the Cressi name. Will recommend.
Not sure what else to say...these seem to be a pretty good swim fin.
I must admit, I chuckled (to myself) when I read the review about them being quite slippery on the pool floor as I did not understand why anyone would arremoyro walk while wearing fins. That said, the reviewer is absolutely right; when standing in the shallow end (honest rest) you do notice that they slip. Thai is not a showstopper, just something to be aware of. After all, fins are for swimming! They do the job they were designed to do.
Was worried these might be a little too big am a 6.5-7 foot, but they did fit fine and my daughter who is a size bigger can use them comfortably too. Also in use they give just enough extra push when snorkelling without being the huge long things that are a bit more difficult to control.
I got these when the ones I wanted weren't available - so I went with the positve reviews. I'm not really getting on with them - for me they are too heavy and too long and I have to be careful my lower back and knees don't get strained. I will be trying some much lighter, shorter ones.
Great item and beautiful. I unpack as soon as it arrive home, looks great, nice and small. Looks easy for traveling, I buy for snorkeling. I will try soon and I hope they will great again. Hope nothing will be wrong. Thank you for the fast shipment and arrive on time as per the schedule.
I love these swimming find. My last ones split in the upper part, above the top of the ankle. The old ones the black foot part was made out of rubber, perhaps that's why they split. BUT my new ones are different, the foot holder is made of a different material combining rubber & polyurethane . Much stronger and holds my feet better. Very pleased, great improvement from Cressi!
