L'installazione è semplicissima grazie all'apposito sportellino posteriore (che ricordo è presente solo nella versione iMac da 27 pollici).
Io l'ho installata in aggiunta alla memoria da 8GB che si trovava già a bordo e non ho avuto alcun problema, ora la memoria totale è di 40GB.
Per chi vuole fare una installazione come la mia consiglio la giusta sequenza di installazione dei banchi di memoria. Partendo dal basso e procedendo verso l'alto, inserire prima il banco da 16GB, poi quello da 8GB, poi di nuovo uno da 16GB e infine l'altro da 8GB. Usando i vari tool di diagnostica questa combinazione è risultata quella con le migliori performance.
Quando lo si riaccende dopo l'update sta un po' di tempo che sembra spento, penso che all'inizio faccia qualche check sulla memoria, che essendo piuttosto grande richiede tempo.
