This is a good little radio, but with some compromises. I bought it for camping because it is highly portable and rechargeable and it is very suitable for this. If you want one for home look for a bigger model with a better speaker.
Pros
Full featured and easy to use
Good aesthetics
Rechargeable
Light and highly portable.
Cons
You need the aerial fully extended to get reception. I have several DAB radios and this is the only one that needs the aerial extended. However, it is very small so this is likely a compromise to achieve portability, any internal aerial is going to be very small
The sound is tinny. Again it is a tiny radio designed for portability so this isn't surprising. But if it is to be your main radio at home perhaps look at a larger model.
