I needed it a solar light for my porch, let's go by parts:

All hardware was loose all over the place, when I opened the box the hardware box was open. Don't know if hardware was complete or good quality because I didn't use it; but for you to know.

First impression
Lamp is very sturdy, heavy and looks well made. On the other hand, the solar plate termination and finished was bad. Silicone and glue residue in diferent spots was visible, cord is pretty long for most applications. Is a 25W plate that I hope last!

Comes with a cheap remote control where you can tweak some adjustments. Remote has a decent range, I don't use it much tho. You can see a charde indicator in the light, it has 5 dots and mine arrived with 3 dots of charge. Took about 4hrs to fully charge.

My selection was use it on from dusk to dawn. It stays on dim, but when detects movement goes high for about 5 seconds. Try not to look directly when high because it will blind you, light is very bright. It last on the whole night and starts charging when sum comes up and at 10am is fully charge again.

It does what it suppose to, don't loose or damage your remote because it doesn't has an on/off switch built-in; It will store last setting. Deducted one star because of hardware not well packaged and plate cosmetic defects.

4.0 out of 5 stars Birght light, great panel, no direct controls

This is a good high output solar powered light that utilizes a Fresnel type of multi lens arrangement to turn the array of LED elements in the panel into an even and round shaped light instead of a squared or uneven light. You can see the flood effect in the photo I uploaded.

The light panel charges the light in a good sunny California day and the battery in the unit lasts the hours that the spec says it should. I am not super fond of the steel mounts, which are more or less a "bucket bail" type of fixture on both the panel and for the light itself. Especially in the case of the panel, the mount does not hold position strong enough to keep the panel in place if there is strong wind (no hurricane - I mean like 20 mph). I think this could be corrected with some sort of friction creating device between the mount, the panel and the turn screws that hold it on. The light bail is not so bad because it is a smaller panel and doesn't act like a sail as much. Also, it is not putting as much leverage on the mount or the anchor bolts if you use them.

If you are just taking t his camping and setting everything on the ground or a table like a couple of easels, then the stands are fine. This is what I did for my first testing. I would do a little engineering before mounting them like the instructions show.

The instructions are written by a a non-English speaker but are more passable than the usual. They are understandable and only slightly smaller than is comfortable. You need to read them, too, because this unit is only operable using its remote control, which is slightly confusing in its function. This is actually cleared up by the instructions.

The last part is what I downgrade this device for. The remote is not built as well as the light itself. In fact, It feels cheaply made, but admittedly has not destructed yet. It is black, which I think is a funny color for a remote to be used with an outdoor floodlight. The biggest complaint is that the light appears to use an IR beam to connect to the light and it is not a super strong one. I have found that the remote needs to aim right at the front of the light or it does not work reliably. I think it is weird that I might have to use a flashlight to look at a control for a light until the light itself comes on. Anyways, the range is not good as well. Consider this before mounting the light in a high place. I would not mount it higher than about 10 feet.

The last criticism is that there are NO direct controls on the light itself. You lose the remote and you will have very limited use of the unit. I would have appreciated an on/off and a mode toggle switch.

On the plus side all the pieces other than the remote seem well made and work well
