Doesnt have intensity of 110 v but that's ok. It works very well in places where you need something quickly and only a short while and where you need good maneuver ability. The "hold" button is very good feature. 20V battery system is very good....have several bosch 18v and they're not quite up to same standard
Plenty of heat, nice feel and lightweight if you use the smallest 2 amp batteries. So far the I've gotten over 20 minutes use with 1 bar left to go but rarely do i need it for more than 3 or 4 minutes at a time. The problem i have is there is very little output airflow-wise. My old plug in heat guns threw hot air at a really good distance, as expected. But i was hoping this Dewalt would at least push air beyond the 3-4 inches it does. I'd gladly sacrifice battery longevity for more heat throw. Anyone who has this tool likely has other dewalt tools and spare batteries. For what it's worth, i bought two heat guns at the same time for two different job applications and the other gun is no better.
