Instructions were clear and unit worked perfectly first time. I used the unit to count rotations of the anchor windless so as to know the amount of anchor chain that is paid out. This unit came with a nice quality hall effect proximity sensor. The counter has independent up and down count inputs. Connect the sensor, via a SPDT toggle switch to select when counting up or down. A reset switch or button is also needed.
The sensor is dead. Used the one I happen to have and it works great. The wiring diagram sucks!!!!!! Good luck making heads or tales out of the 3 wire sensor and be sure to purchase a separate reset switch.
