About Debby Hayes
Debby Hayes is a Certified Nutritionist (NASM Accredited), chef and mother of two.
Today she is one of the leading experts in the Healthy Eating Movement, and is helping thousands of people lose weight and maintain their health sustainably - through translating the science of highly effective diet programs into practical guides and cookbooks.
But Debby's life hasn't always been easy. In fact, she spent her entire adolescence fighting obesity and eating disorders due to an unbalanced, disorganized diet and life in general.
After three years of deep depression and social isolation, and having tried over 13 diets that promised fantastic results without success, Debby completely lost faith in the outside world. Fed up, she decided to study Nutrition and Physiology at Berkeley - which she finished which distinction.
After years of more studying and practical testing, she finally found the keys to getting back to her ideal weight, and, above all, maintaining it: The Systematic Programming of Meals.
Thanks to her systematic outlook and programmed nutrition, she managed to lose 80lbs in 2 years and regain her health and life back.
This experience has led her to test effective weight loss and health programs that have helped thousands of people also regain their psycho-physical balance.
Debby believes there is not a "one-size-fits all" diet, and works with each person individually based on their goals, genetics and physiological make-up. Only after doing deep analysis on the client, does she pick the correct program to fit their needs.
Debby currently lives in the San Fransisco Bay area with her husband, two kids and a golden retriever named Spud.
Her mission is to help as many people as possible through her systematized diet programs, which she shares through her books and the educational events.
