Designed for left- or right-hand doors, it will easily fit two common backsets (2-3/4-inch and 2-3/8-inch) and has a 1-inch by 2-1/4-inch radius round corner face plate. Use this hardware on standard 1-3/8-inch and 1-3/4-inch thick doors.

Once the unit is fully screwed together, the latch wouldn't pop out all the way, so the door wouldn't stay shut. I tried over and over to get it to work, but couldn't. The keyed door hardware that I was replacing worked just fine with the same door. I don't think that this is high quality equipment.
