I give 4 stars because I received the book not in a good state ( dirty with damaged edges ) and two pages was blank ( I guess due to a print error ).

Is it just me or is this rebranding agile? A good collecting of the principles and practices we've come to adopt over the past 15 to 20 years and in a single book. Includes system thinking and lean backgrounds that help lend credibility. Definitely a palm strike to the face of those doing Scrum thinking they are agile. The page count in the summary on the site appears to be way off. According to my Kindle Paperwhite I've read about 750 pages so far and am about 26% of the way through, the summary says the book is 250 pages (on the Kindle itself the 'Aboty this book' says 480 pages). I can only presume that the print edition has very large pages, very small print or both.

Overall, and compared with the other books I've read by this author ("Phoenix Project" and "Visible Ops Handbook"), it's a slow read. It is definitely an indepth how to with lots of case studies so this is the book you read if you are going to implement DevOps, not a quick introduction you'd read to help decide if to implement DevOps.
