I like the size and weight of the book. If you look at it, it doesn't look like a book. The print is soft, not clear like a typeset would. On a shelf I think it would stand out. On a table, in a stack, it blends in a bit more.

I wouldn't put my life savings in here. My husband was able to pry and peek inside but he didn't break it, not saying he couldn't have. It doesn't come with a key. I looked at many, I thought this one came with a key but it doesn't. The pages aren't real. Overall it's still pretty cute!

Certainly looks fake if viewed from the side as the "pages" are thick plastic. The lock could probably be broken fairly easily but good if you're hiding things from children etc.
