To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
when I finally got the game ( not amazon's fault) and got it working, I was living in hope all aspects of the fifa experience were going to be better ( sadly not) I feel it's gone a bit of a mix of like 40% pro evo and 60% fifa ( which doesn't work)
I've been an avid fan of fifa since day 1 I feel fifa 12 was the best of the latest-ish fifa's that I played and going way back to 2000, I do like the aspect of the journey added into the game, gives it a difference experience imo ( not played career mode yet so can't comment) I normally just play co-op season's or pro club matches now, but as they've changed the passing a bit I feel it doesn't work as true as it could/did
the ultimate team is still the same- plays the same and makes you spend money to get no one the same ( haha) overall still a good game but you can't play it for too long without getting annoyed with it.
Visually it's exactly the same as every FIFA released on PlayStation 4 despite the hype. The graphics are will poor compared with non-sports games. The only difference is how slow the gameplay is.
This game is the worst example yet of rubber banding. The game steps in far more than ever before to balance things up resulting in massive frustration. You can be 0-0 in the 90th minute of total domination, you're through on goal and your player will fall over himself or scuff the shot wide.
Penalties are a joke. They tried to fix something that wasn't broken. Sometimes an arrow will appear to help, sometimes not meaning you are firing blind.
You cannot pass free kicks as they will just go to the opposition. You cannot pass out from the keeper as 50% of the time your keeper will just pass the the opposition.
I would suggest you don't buy this unless you want to play the career mode (hence 2 stars not 1).
The story mode is really good and keeps you wanting to improve your skills as character Alex Hunter; keeping you motivated to play for your favorite team where you're constantly fighting for first team football to impress manager. The story mode is really refreshing compared to previous games as it gives you more of an understanding of football culture on and off the pitch. The graphics look much better than "Fifa 16" with improvements such as sweat, crowd movements and the new introduction of seeing Managers reaction etc. My conclusion is that "Fifa 17" is a historic game that is the first football game to include a rich story mode (with real managers) and would recommend for any gamer who loves sports games.
As usual it's the same rubbish - updated squads and nothing else. As expected.
Only addition is in the transfer window.. good point; you can add more options such as release clauses (more realistic) bad points; it goes to a weird cutscene where there's no music/talking.. just poorly made characters smiling and nodding.. it gets old very very quickly. Very.
Gameplay, much the same, although seems a bit 'easier' this time around.
I gave it a good shake of the stick when it first came out, currently it's collecting dust. I would need to be very very bored to pick it up again.
I ordered a brand new copy from Amazon, plopped it into the PS4 and spent around 2 hours trying to get the game to install. The occasional time it DID get past the blue error screen it would get stuck on 84% installation and wouldn't budge. I sent it back and tried grabbing a used version instead.
Exactly same issue this time instead though the disc looked like it had been cleaned poorly and the disc looks all distorted like oil is on it. This got further than the previous disc, but after a about 15 minutes of installation the disc stops spinning, then spins up again and repeats until the blue screen error comes up. It seems like the "used" discs are just refunded items where they didn't work and the company has repackaged it. Very poor. No wonder the game is so cheap!!
Awful gameplay, players don't move in the direction they are supposed to, switching players is a lucky dip, tackling is nearly impossible, moving up in levels means your quick players slow down and Robert Huth becomes Usain Bolt, your strong players turn into weeds and your players lose the ability to take a first touch. If you go up in levels you expect the opposition to get better not your team's abilities to get worse. Thought FIFA16 was a blip, after more wasted money I won't be buying another FIFA title again.
This game is really no different to any other year. The graphics are slightly improved but seeing the manager on the sideline does nothing for me I'm afraid, certainly not worth paying the full price for. I can only comment on career mode as I don't play online, but the changes are really nothing special. In fact it's infuriating that you are now forced by the board ( depending on team ) to play youth players in a certain percentage of games to meet board expectations. The other board expectations are largely beyond your control and add nothing to the game. The gameplay itself is as scripted as ever. Basically you don't actually ''play'' the game. The results are scripted and nothing you do will change the results. As someone commented earlier, you know within seconds of kick off whether you will win or not, basically making this game pointless. Who wants to play a game where the results are pre determined before you kick a ball.
i think is the worst ever fifa. i never said is the worst fifa before and i always give chances. i liked the fact they cange the corner but before was more realistic. the penalty are THE WORST EVER. the shooting is not great. i have played it only a few times but i got that feeling. i won 2 of 3 mathces i had few days ago, so its not after disappointment i say this.
Having owned pretty much every FIFA ever I can safely say you kinda know what you're gonna get when you buy FIFA. This game is no different. It's pretty fluid and there's admittedly very little change from the previous game. Defending is a little harder and sometimes it can be nigh-on impossible to score a goal but if you scored every time it'd be pretty boring. Gameplay is pretty good and the graphics are marginally better than the previous edition.
