To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Food should bring people together, not devide them. This is a good book that's basically political throughout. There's no need for that at all. Let the food tell the story of the region. I don't want to keep it and don't even feel comfortable passing it on. Opportunity missed.
Beautiful cookbook, beautiful stories and photos. However, I have tried very hard to find a single recipe I would actually like to cook and I can't. Most are not very practical. Ingredients not readily available. Much much prefer Persiana.
I tried a couple of recipes but I am not a big fan. The ones that I tried were not well balanced and had ingredients that were overpowering each other. In addition, the cover of the book is textile which makes me worried about the durability of it
LOVE the recipes. But it shouldn’t be called a cookbook on the front cover. This book is just as much a political book as it is a cookbook. And the narrative is very anti-Israel. Of course that’s the authors prerogative. But it should be called what is, a Palestinian-propaganda book under the guise of food.
