This is a funky, interesting toy. The rings rattle. The suction cup doesn’t really suction onto anything but that’s not a big deal. The only thing to be aware of is that it is quite heavy for a baby and would suit an older, stronger baby (maybe 8 months and up)

Choking Hazard

This is supposed to be a teether and has small pieces of plastic that snap off the rings. Glad it came with the piece already off laying in the bottom of the bag. What if a baby using this as a teether and bites off one of these small pieces. Very dangerous choking hazard.

Does not suction to any surface I’ve tried

The first line item in the description list is that it is a suction toy - and that is woefully inaccurate. It’s a bright, fun rattle; however we bought this for our 8 month old specifically because of the suction cup element. It doesn’t suction to her high chair, our coffee table, the window, or any other flat surface without falling down immediately. We tried a bit of water to see if that would help - no dice. It’s a shame because it’s so brightly colored and a great rattle, but the description (and images of it perfectly suctioned) are misleading.

My 7mo loves this toy! He loves to shake the rattle part and use it as a teether! I like that the colors are stimulating and that it is made out if safe materials. Like others, I was’nt sure if this could go in the dishwasher but I contacted the mfr and was told it wouldnt be a problem although hand washing is preferential - there are no parts that water can penetrate either! All around good toy your little can play with for a couple years!

This toy fits most, of not all of my criteria for a toy worthy of purchase. There are so many toys out there now and I have a small home, so the toys I buy, need to be worth the space they take up and the money I put in to them. Longevity, safety, fun level, and size all play a role in this decision. This toy takes it a step further with the ability to suction cup it to things like the tub or food tray, which is awesome because it makes it stationary so you aren’t picking it up off the floor every 5.7 seconds. Theoretically, you could suction it to a table, wall, floor, etc, however my little ox baby is able to pull it right off those things as the suction isn’t quite strong enough for his brute strength. For a 6 month old, I think this is a great toy and will entertain him for some time to come.
