What amazon sends is the FISKARS POWER GEAR 2. The newer model.
This new model has its own separate listing page AND IT IS CHEAPER BY A FEW DOLLARS!!!!!
In addition in my opinion the changes to the shape and locking mechanism and this nonstick blade have ruined it.
It will work for pruning but my old model had a different shape to the Handel and that is what I am accustomed to and why I wanted the old.
I advise anyone to click the link to the newer model and save yourself the trouble of having to call and get refunds
